Hillary Clinton ‘truly regrets’ Gandhi joke:
I’m really not bent out of shape about this but I do have to smirk at the double standard. Hillary was trying to be funny when she said that Ghandi ran a gas station in St. Louis (East St. Louis?) but quickly gave the “just kidding” by saying that Ghandi was a great man. Now to me that’s the equivalent of saying, “Dr. Martin Luther King, didn’t he used to pick cotton in Alabama? But he’s a great guy”.
I have to laugh because if any non-liberal politician had said this they would be calling for his head. But since the almighty Hillary said it then it’s ok. Just have to smirk.
