More of the same. In Everett, Washington Kimberly Coney is accused of renting out a house to several different people. Only Ms. Coney didn’t own the house on the first place. Of course she advertised the house for rent on craigslist.
Loudoun County Man Charged In Counterfeiting Scheme:
21-year-old Sharveen Sharifaie-Arabi of Loudon County, Virginia was arrested for the standard check counterfeiting craigslist scam. You know the one. Someone takes out an ad selling something. Then a guy like this one sends a bogus check for over the amount. Police found over $2M in bogus checks.
Astor tix scam insult:
And finally some sick S.O.B. is trying to sell on craigslist two tickets to the funeral of beloved New York socialite Brooke Astor. Astor’s family says the tickets are fakes.
