Man Accused Of Animal Cruelty, Raising Pit Bulls On Steroids:
I wish I was making this one up but 45-year-old Raymond Doerfler of Tampa (Florida, go figure) was arrested on animal abuse and drug charges. Those charges don’t sound very Dumpsteresque when I print them like that. What if I tell you he was advertising dogs that he bred as “nuclear-sized pit bulls”? What if I told you he was giving the dogs steroids? And just for good measure let’s throw in 90 marijuana plants that were found in a trailer. Doerfler claims he was not training the dogs for fighting. I guess the steroids were just for the Pit Bull National Weight Lifting Competiton. And read how Doerfler advertised the dogs on his website…
Doerfler marketed his pit bulls on a Web site, which states: “Dedicated to creating the largest, most bigboned, blockheads around!”
He may not be breeding them for fighting but I bet his clientèle is training them for it.
So for Pit Bulls, steroids, weed, and a trailer Mr. Doerfler receives a Dumpster Rating of 4.
