Report: Stabenow’s husband paid prostitute in sting:
This site just doesn’t pick on craigslist. I’ll pick on any classified site where a crime has been committed and today the spotlight is on backpage.com. That’s where Tom Athans of Michigan found a $150 hooker. Who is Tom Athans you ask. He’s the husband of US Senator Debbie Stabenow. He was stopped as part of an internet prostitution sting by police in Troy, MI but was not arrested. Instead he was written up for driving on a suspended license. That reeks of special treatment to me.
Don’t be surprised if there’s a Senate investigation started into the practices of backpage.com.
