Boy’s suffering leads to official soul-searching:
This is another one that I previously posted about at News of Doom.
24-year-old Starkeisha Brown, and her girlfriend, 24-year-old Krystal Matthews, were arrested in Los Angeles for starving and torturing Brown’s 5-year-old son.
He was covered in cigarette burns, including to his genitals. He couldn’t fully open his hand because it had been burned on a stove. His tooth was broken with a nerve exposed. And he had been made to sit in his own urine and feces, authorities say.
To make matters worse when Brown was brought into social services about it she tried passing off her baby sitter’s son as hers.
That bay sitter, 26-year-old LaTanya Jones, also abused Brown’s son and has been arrested, Jones kids have been removed from her home.
Local authorities are wondering why Social Services didn’t step in sooner.
