YouTube threat ends in house arrest

Man Pleads Guilty After YouTube Rant:

Last June Andre Moore of Philadelphia made a video that he posted to YouTube where he called for people to shoot some Philly cops. Moore was also brandishing a gun in the video. Some of those threats included telling people to shoot police in the head or heart.

A lot of naive people came to his defense stating free speech. However threats are not a form of protected speech.

Moore pleaded guilty to multiple charges and was sentenced to 6-23 months house arrest and recanted his threats.

Remember that the next time you think you’re cool by waving a gun around on YouTube or MySpace.
