WEB Task Force strikes again

I originally posted about the WEB Task Force here and they’ve netted 9 this time on various craigslist hooker stings.

Those arrested were…

The females arrested for engaging in sexual conduct for a fee were Michell Davey, 36, Jennifer Schaaf, 22, Chenchi Lin, and Emily Poland.

The males arrested for paying a fee for sexual conduct were Deric Lipski, 35, Mark Snow, 53, Jeffrey Wentworth, 36, and John Dietel, 42, of Seekonk.

Harold Conille, 26, was arrested for deriving support from prostitution.

That means he’s a pimp.

Some of the suspects also had outstanding warrants.

Des Moines woman ripped off in car deal

Des Moines woman’s purchase of car through craigslist goes awry:

A woman from Des Moines, Iowa paid someone on craigslist $5560 for a 2005 Acura but the car was not delivered as promised. I can’t tell if she paid for the car and it was never delivered or something else happened.

Rental scam in Reno

Police say new rental scam being used in Reno area:

We have new scammer names to add to the list.

This time it’s “Jane Duncan” and “Gary Duncan” who are posing as the usual missionaries moving to West Africa. According to this article they are targeting craigslist in the Reno, Nevada area posting ads for rental properties that are below normal rent and as usual don’t even belong to them.

Be aware.

Fourth grader found with gun

Fourth-Grader Caught With Loaded Gun At Bus Stop:

A 4th grader from Richland Upper Elementary in Mississippi was caught with a .380 at his bus stop which is considered school property.

He claims he found the gun under the couch at his home.

Thanks to parental carelessness a 10-year-old boy has been arrested.

If you have young children don’t be an assclown. Either get rid of your guns or keep them locked in a safe.

Salina teen arrested for threat

Student Arrested For Alleged School Threats:

It sure has been a busy school year so far and we haven’t even hit Labor Day yet.

15-year-old Nicholas Harter of Salina South High School in Salina, Kansas was arrested yesterday for threatening to ‘do a Columbine ‘ against his school. He made the threat to one of his teachers.

Really? I mean it’s only the first week of school and you already have to go and make a threat like that? At least you weren’t the first to be arrested this year.

Doelitsch blames depression

Teen Accused Of Plotting School Attack Blames Threats On Depression:

18-year-old Allen Doelitsch is blaming the attack he planned on Champion High School in Boerne, Texas on his depression.

“It’s just what I thought about doing at the time,” he said. “I don’t feel like doing it all the time. I never said anything about doing it. I just said I felt like it. I didn’t say I was going to.”

“I don’t have any guns at my house,” he said. “I really don’t want to hurt other people. There’s no point. They didn’t do anything to me, so why would I do anything to them?”

Mom allegedly took him off his meds for fear of future medical problems. Good work there Mom. However it does thrown a wrench into the works of the Luddites who usually blame the drugs for these kinds of crimes.

He also blamed his actions on TV shows about Columbine.

Hainstock hearing scheduled

Date set for Hainstock’s hearing:

The first hearing to see if Eric Hainstock’s murder conviction will be overturned has been scheduled for December 10th.

If you’ll recall Hainstock shot Weston Schools principal John Klang three times. Klang later died from his wounds at the hospital.

Hainstock’s attorney argues that he was in no mental state to waive his rights at police questioning.

Police plot strategy in hunt for boy:

Just wanted to post something I had missed previously about the case of Giovanni Gonzalez.

I previously posted about the bloody mop found in Ernesto Gonzalez’s residence. What I neglected to post is that other evidence taken from there were cleaner, a knife, and lighter fluid.

That is very foreboding.

Florida teen arrested for threat against school

Dade City Teen Charged With Threating Shooting Spree:

School season has started so you know what that means. Stupid kids who threaten to shoot up their school. Today’s contestant is 16-year-old George Paul Adams of Moore-Mickens Education Center in Dade City, Florida.

He threatened to shoot up the school because the school held him back and after reading this blog entry I don’t blame them.

Police say that he mapped out his attack and had access to multiple guns. Police were tipped off by a student that he told the plot about.

It must really suck to be a victim of your own stupidity.
