Police report increase in Internet scams:
craigslist scams are on the rise with the holidays fast approaching. Buyers and sellers are being scammed.
Buyers are being scammed the usual way. They send money for an item that doesn’t really exist. Sellers are being scammed by people buying their items with stolen credit cards.
The spirit of Christmas greed continues. Now that craigslist has gotten prostitution under control *snicker* maybe they can do something to limit the scam artists on their site.
