Elder half of mother-daughter Craigslist team pleads guilty to promoting prostitution:
Back in October I posted about the mother and daughter pair of Philadelphia craigslist hookers 38-year-old Traci Young and 22-year-old Tammi Smith.
The mother in that pair, the now 39-year-old Young, pleaded guilty yesterday in a Philadelphia court to charges of promoting prostitution and conspiracy. Under the terms of the plea she’s looking at anywhere from three to 23 months in county lock up and three years probation on top of that. Young’s pim…I mean boyfriend, David Riley, contended that Young was just giving ‘massages’.
“That’s my girlfriend. I wouldn’t let her [do that].”
Uh-huh.
Young’s public defender lays the blame at the feet of the daughter because that’s what lawyers do.
Public defender David DeRidder told the judge that it was the daughter, Smith, and not his client, who detailed the “services” that $200 would buy.
Sentencing for Young is scheduled to take place May 14th.
Smith is set to go to trial on April 17th.
No word on if Smith’s three kids were still with CPS or not.
