craigslist crime blotter 4/14/09 – Puppy stealing hooker edition

Alleged craigslist prostitute had “extensive contact” with police:

Police in Portsmouth, NH arrested 19-year-old Jessica Rogers on craigslist solicitation charges. She also has a previous criminal record of stealing a puppy worth $1500 and vehicular assault. I’m guessing no outstanding citizenship award for her from the city fathers.

San Diego man sentenced in prostitution case involving underage girl:

21-year-old Christopher Black of San Diego, California was sentenced to almost six years in federal prison for pimping out an underage girl on craigslist. Six years isn’t enough. These child peddling scumbags need to be given harsher sentences.

Clifton police arrest three in robbery linked to Craigslist:

Police in Clifton, NJ have arrested three suspects in the iPhone robbery that happened there. Two of the suspects are juveniles and the adult suspect is 18-year-old Ronnie Dumas.

For those pervs who pimp out underage girls, they should get a minimum of 10 years for the pimping in general, an additional 3 years for each year under 18 the girl is, and an additional 5 years for each year under 10. So, a guy pimping out a 16-year-old would get 14 years, and one pimping out a 9-year-old would get 29. It'd be a start, eh?
