Threats Against Local Schools Posted On Craigslist:

I guess it was only a matter of time before two of my main crime blogging subjects collided.

Someone in San Diego posted threats against several area schools on craigslist probably in the rants and raves section.

San Diego is a big navy town and the poster claims to hate the US military especially the Navy and wants someone to attack the schools to hurt the children of those in the Navy.

The posts target several schools: Village Elementary and Silver Strand Elementary in Coronado; Cabrillo Elementary and Bay Point Pre-school Near Liberty Station in Point Loma.

This assclown has got a few things going against him. The first is that even though craigslist usually drags its feet helping police the poster can be traced through craigslist. The second is it’s August, school is still out.

Without having seen the actual post I wouldn’t be surprised if it was some kid trying to delay the start of school.

They're targeting elementary schools and a pre-school? I hope this caught ASAP, even if it is some assclown trying to delay the start of school.If that's the case, it would have to be someone going into no more than the 5th grade. That's so screwed up.
