‘You Light Up My Life’ Songwriter Makes Bail in Sexual Assault Case:

I originally posted about Joseph Brooks here and here. He’s the 70-year-old guy who wrote the song You Light Up My Life. He’s also accused of advertising for actresses on craigslist and ‘forcing himself’ on them. By forcing himself they mean date raping. Again for some reason the media doesn’t like to use the word rape for some reason.

Anyway the Oscar award winning alleged date rapist is out on bail. He’s accused of raping anywhere between 11 and 13 women. Nothing like allowing an alleged serial rapist out on the streets.

The following Craigslist posting is from today in the ‘talent gigs’ section.

It was posted by someone claiming to be “looking for talented artist to showcase to Atlantic Records”. The phone number given is 212-757-6442. When I looked that number up I found out it belonged to Joseph Brooks. If this is the same guy, which it may very well be, is he able to continue raping women this easily knowing that the most he’ll get is a slap on the wrist and a relatively cheap bail to pay? I don’t know if you have any connections to law authority, but someone should look into this posting before anyone else is raped.
