Teen sold sex, recruited others on Craigslist: RCMP:
Back when I was in high school in the early to mid 80s all parents had to mostly worry about their daughters was if they came home drunk or the occasional pregnancy. What they did not have to worry about is if one of their classmates would recruit them in a craigslist prostitution ring.
That’s exactly what happened in one Chilliwack, British Columbia high school according to the RCMP. They say that a 14-year-old girl advertised herself on the erotic services section of craigslist as a prostitute. A client, 51-year-old David Thomas Hilpert, was also arrested. The RCMP thinks that the girl may have even recruited two other young girls to sell themselves for sex on craigslist and they’re might be others.
The Canadian government has just had the best reason for erotic services to be shut down fall squarely in their lap. Let’s see how craigslist reacts to this.
