THANKS

Except my e-mail address wasn’t even listed on the e-mail. Not to mention that whole I’ve never even been to England thing. The exchange rate is a couple of thousand off too.

Again I post these scam e-mails that I receive in the hopes that I can help at least one person not be tricked by this and once the scammers have no more victims they’ll go away.

  • Brendacomeaux

The exchange rate can change on a daily basis. They don’t even use British pounds as a form of currency. Since joining the European Union, Euros is their form of currency.

    • Robburnsefc

They do use British Pounds, despite being in the EU.

      • Brendacomeaux

But I wonder if the pound and Euro have the same value?

  • LMM

I just got this myself. XD

Glad to see you didn’t fall for it.: )

  • andy capp

    Good choice.

  • Michael

Thanks! I almost fell for it!

  • sinead

Just got one too…surprised it got through my spam filter :(

  • Htp 45061

I just got one  of the same email,I ask what the catch? No response yet.But I’m glad you let me find this page .Thanks so much.

    • http://trenchreynolds.me Trench Reynolds

The catch is that if you try and claim the supposed prize they’ll request a ‘processing fee’ and if you send them any money you’ll never see any prize.

I WONDER  HOW PEOPLE  HAVE TIME TO TRY TO SCREW OTHERS

  • Stavro99

I got this as well. I wondered if anyone else got this. I’m very surprised it got through the spam filter.
