In the past 5 or 6 years that I’ve been posting about social networking crime stories I’ve encountered some pretty bizarre stories but I think the story of one Johnathan Cooper of Weatherford, Texas may take the perverted cake. I’ve posted stories about guys who have been arrested literally over a dozen times for their MySpace crimes but none have done so much in only one arrest like Cooper.

Currently he’s the sentencing phase for not only having sex with a 13-year-old girl (again, child rape in my opinion) but for also trying to get that girl to get him a 6-year-old girl that he could rape. It doesn’t end there though. The article is a never-ending tale of twit and turns that show what lengths Cooper would go to in order to have sex with just about anyone. I implore you to read the article in its entirety but I’ll give you some of the highlights.

  • When he was having sex (raping) with the girl she told him to stop and he didn’t.
  • He told her he wanted to get her pregnant.
  • He told her that he had sex (raped) with an 11-year-old girl and wanted younger.
  • After he bonded out of jail after his arrest he tried contacting the girl under an assumed identity on MySpace.
  • While he was dating a different girl that he met on MySpace she says that she found a camera that was recording her in the bathroom.
  • That same girl found evidence that Cooper was getting hookers.
  • She also didn’t know Cooper’s real name until deep into the relationship.
  • When she did find out his name she found out about his arrest and that Cooper was trying to make it look like that his first victim was trying to extort money from him.
  • He had a fake ID in the victim’s name with her picture to try to back up his B.S. story.
  • He cruised for men on craigslist.
  • One man who went to his home left after Cooper asked him if he could get any underage girls for Cooper to rape.
  • He tried getting a woman that he met through MySpace to give him sex for money.

    • That has to be one of the longest list of transgressions I’ve ever posted when it comes to just one MySpace sexual predator. The sad part is I bet there is some girl or woman out there who believes every line that he’s handed her.
