Prosecutor who released WM3 to run for office

WM3 prosecutor, ex-Harlem Globetrotter file for office:

Scott Ellington is the prosecutor who made the deal that allowed the West Memphis 3 to be released from prison. Recently he declared his intention to run for congress. All of a sudden everything makes sense now.

Ellington is a politician and what do politicians do best? They talk out of both sides of their mouth. In my opinion, Ellington is using this high-profile case as a stepping stone to Congress and he can appeal to voters on both sides of the argument.

To the West Memphis 3 supporters, he can say “I allowed them to be released from prison” but to the opposition, he can say “I got them to plead guilty…sort of.”

Meanwhile, justice for the real victims continues to escape everybody.
