The Hollywood money backed West Memphis 3 exoneration machine is at it again with its spaghetti throwing. This time they claim that the forensic fiber evidence used to convict the three was faulty. You know, from almost 20 years ago. They say that three of their forensic experts say that the government’s handling of the clothing fibers was faulty and that this proves that their clients were nowhere near the crime scene.
First off money can buy a lot of things including pre-determined results. Secondly as I’ve said before the lack of forensic evidence doesn’t necessarily exclude them from being the murderers. Lastly you’ll notice that only exoneration is mentioned in the article and nothing about finding the ‘real killers’.
Don’t ever kid yourself that this is ever about finding the real killers. They’ve already been found and were convicted. There’s more money in the movies and other media proclaiming Damien Echols’ innocence than there is in the search for true justice. And again don’t fool yourself into thinking that this isn’t about anybody but Echols.
