SC mom holds Kik Kreeper for police with BB gun

Fort Mill mom holds man accused of having sex with her daughter at BB gunpoint:

Addison Pittman

Addison Pittman

23-year-old Addison Pittman picked the wrong bedroom to be allegedly caught in. Pittman is said to have met a 15-year-old girl from Fort Mill, South Carolina, over the instant messaging app Kik. Police say that Pittman had sex with the girl at her house then tried sneaking out of her bedroom window. What he didn’t count on was being spotted by a pissed off mother.

The mom is said to have used a BB rifle to jeep Pittman from escaping until police arrived. Pittman seemed to be under the impression that the gun was real.

“Please … please do not send me to jail,” the mother said, quoting Pittman. “I said, ‘You should’ve thought about that before you entered my home, into my 15-year-old’s bedroom. Whatever happens now, you deserve.’ ”

Mom also wanted what every parent would want in this kind of situation…

If not for police intervention, Pittman “would’ve gotten beat up,” the girl’s mom said. “I think I would’ve beaten him to a pulp. …I wanted to. I wanted five minutes with him. I asked the officer to please give me five minutes, that’s all I wanted. And, I would’ve put him in the hospital.”

I bet the police would have really loved to given her those five minutes too.

The only question I have about this story is how did they meet through Kik? You can only contact someone on Kik if you know their username so I wonder where the exchange of usernames took place.

The mother is lucky the police didn’t arrest her for the BB gun. She would have gotten more time than Pittman had she assaulted him. She’s supposed to call 911 and hide in the corner.

Depends on the state. When my brother lived in Virginia his apartment caught fire. He told the firemen that he had guns in the apartment and they said “No problem, we know what to do”. Now if that was our native New Jersey where that had happened they probably would have locked my brother up.

Since this story was from SC I doubt the police had a problem with it.
