Oregon man faces rape charge in Idaho:

First I’d like to commend KTVB in Idaho for actually using the word rape in their story. Too many media outlets are replacing the word rape with terms like ‘had sex’. It’s good to see at least one media outlet telling it like it is.

Anyway police in Oregon have arrested 20-year-old Nicholas Longo of Brookings, Oregon on charges that he allegedly raped a 16-year-old girl from Boise that he met on social network site MeetMe.

Police say that Longo lived in Idaho at the time of the rape in March and invited the girl to a party after meeting her on MeetMe. The victim says that Longo raped her at the party while Longo says that the sex was consensual. Never mind the fact that under Idaho law no one under the age of 18 can legally consent to sex. So consensual or not it’s still rape under the eyes of the law.

Police also say that Longo moved to Oregon shortly after the rape took place. That’s not suspicious at all.

Now cue all his loser friends and pedo-defenders who will more than likely blame the victims.

My advice to parents is keep your kids off of MeetMe, formerly known as MyYearbook. I hate to use an old joke but it really should be called MeatMe because it really is nothing more than a hook up site.

Accused serial rapist captured in Gwinnett County:

After being on the run for a week police in Gwinnett County, Georgia arrested 23-year-old Joseph Tyler Sivonda on rape charges. Police believe that Sivonda would order a prostitute off of Backpage and when they showed up to his apartment complex he would force them into a vacated apartment at gunpoint and rape them. Five victims have come forward but police say there may be more. However for someone who police believe is a serial rapist he’s only being held on $2400 bond. He should be held on at least a six figure bond. Anybody could post the bond that he got and he could be out at anytime looking for more victims.

Also this is yet another problem that Backpage has a hand in yet doesn’t do anything about as long as the money keeps coming in. They don’t care how many women and girls are raped, trafficked or killed.

Chico woman escapes Craigslist kidnapper:

Police in Glencoe, California recently arrested one Jason Tony Bays of Placerville, California on kidnapping charges. Reports say that Bays met a 26-year-old woman from Chico, California on craigslist and took her back to his home. When she tried to leave he allegedly told her she could not and choked her. The woman escaped when Bays took her to a job site in Glencoe. She managed to convince him that she needed to use the bathroom and went into a nearby post office and had employees contact 911.

Even though the woman was said to have communicated with Bays for a month before meeting him face to face this should serve as yet another warning as why you should not meet anyone from craigslist. There are just an inordinate amount of predators and psychos that use the site to find their victims and craigslist is unwilling to do anything about it.

Nahshon Kornegay sentenced to 10 years for pimping in Rockville:

Nahshon Kornegay of District Heights, Maryland was recently sentenced to 10 1/2 years for prostituting two women in Rockville, Maryland. He had advertised them on Backpage of course.

Kornegay was convicted back in January and argued that the women chose to work for him and that there are no victims even though Kornegay used threats of violence to keep the women working for him. Thankfully the judge and jury disagreed. As a matter of fact the prosecution stated that Kornegay continued to prostitute women even from behind bars including the mother of his child. Stay classy.

Which just goes to show you that these pimps and traffickers obviously only care about making the money under any means necessary. Much like Backpage itself for allowing these ads for sexual slavery to continue.

Feds arrest man in Portland hotel on accusations of seeking sex with girl:

The FBI has arrested 33-year-old Lucas James Gautreaux, of Portland, Oregon for allegedly soliciting sex from an underage girl on craigslist. The Portland PD notified the feds after they noticed a casual encounters ad that was posted by someone lookingt to have sex either with someone’s wife or little girl.

A Portland detective who is a member of an FBI task force set up a meeting with Gautreaux at a hotel bar. The detective posed as a man with a 12-year-old daughter who would let Gautreaux have sex with her. How the arrest went down is a classic…

Eventually, they went to a fourth-floor hotel room. Inside, the shower was running, and the detective told Gautreaux that his daughter was taking a shower. The detective asked if his daughter was almost done.

Soon, the water stopped, and the bathroom door opened.

FBI agents came out and took Gautreaux into custody. They read him his Miranda rights.

While this is not a comical issue I just have this image of all these FBI agents storming out of the bathroom like it was a clown car before tackling this scumbag in a giant pile of pissed off agents.

As usual with these creeps Gautreaux had his excuses all ready. According to investigators not only did he say that he has Asperger’s, like that’s relevant, he said that he was really checking out the situation for a ‘friend’ who is a cameraman who makes porn. Hey buddy, that does not make your situation any better under any circumstances even if it was true.

So I still don’t get it. A few years ago MySpace was crawling with pedophiles and predators and everyone was so up in arms about it from the highest level of government to your local soccer mom yet no one gives a crap that they’ve all migrated to craigslist. Again I ask where is useful outrage when you need it?

Man accused in Craigslist drugging and sex assault case:

Quasimodo over there is 48-year-old Eric Alexander of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Area police say that Alexander used craigslist to meet at least one woman in order to drug her and sexually assault her, or as most people call it, date rape.

According to reports Alexander and the woman went to a motel room where he allegedly spiked her drink before ‘sexually assaulting’ her. Since sexual assault has become such a vague term I’m going to assume it was rape. No word on whether or not if the victim was a craigslist pro but I imagine only money could get anyone to go back to a motel room with The Frog up there. That shouldn’t matter anyway because rape victim is a rape victim. And if she’s not a pro that’s one more reason out of a million as to why no one should use craigslist for hook ups. Too many creeps like this scumbag out there.

Seriously look at him. Makes me want iron something.

Anyway Toronto police believe he may have other victims as well.

Father turns in suspected child predator found on Craigslist:

So this guy in the Houston, Texas area was shopping for a tire cover for his Jeep online. He found exactly what he was looking for on craigslist. He contacted the seller and then after the arrangements for the tire cover were made the seller allegedly started asking some typical questions. And by typical I mean typical for craigslist.

The seller started asking the man if he had kids and would they be interested in ‘modeling’ for him. The man says that the seller offered him $5 for clothed photos of his kids and $10 for nudes. After their conversation the man called the local police and the FBI.

This led authorities to one 22-year-old Spencer House. When police searched his home they found child porn on his computer and children’s’ underwear in his closet. Police say that House may have also solicited other parents since he was advertising on craigslist as a child modeling studio.

This is why you shouldn’t do any sort of business on craigslist at least until they promise to clean up their site. No matter how legitimate the item may be that you’re searching for you have a pretty good chance of running into one of these creepers.

Before I get to Bat Boy I wanted to make one thing clear. While the articles linked to may call the website MyYearbook it is actually now known as MeetMe.com or just MeetMe.

Anyway Bat Boy over there is 21-year-old Jeffrey Allen Cary of Midland, Texas. He was arrested after allegedly picking up two 14-year-old girls who were cutting school, taking them to get synthetic marijuana then having sex twice (multiple child rapes) with one of the girls. Police say that he met the victim on MyYearbook/MeetMe. Police also say that he admitted knowing that the girl was 14.

Personally I’d like to know how the girls were able to skip school without their parents being notified or don’t schools do that anymore?

Parents, please take the time to learn exactly what social sites your kids are using and who they’re friends with online. Make sure they’re using their actual ages and not friending someone inappropriately. As I am fond of saying in these situations you are the only defense between your kids and online predators and I’ll keep saying it until creeps like this are a thing of the past.

Humble man accused of allegedly luring underage girls through Craigslist ad:

The human potato over there is 32-year-old Randolph Brian Stringer of Humble, Texas. He was arrested earlier this month for allegedly trying to solicit sex from a teen through an ad he placed in the casual encounters section of craigslist. According to police Stringer’s ad was entitled ‘Teen girl$ – m4w – 35 (Humble)’ and the ad itself contained the following…

“I’m looking for an eager, fun, young lady to spend some time with me. Contact with pictures asap. The younger the better please.”

Again, ick.

String was contacted by a 15-year-old girl. Stringer said that he wanted to buy the girl a pre-paid cell phone, a classic child predator trick. He also told the girl that he would teach her how to be intimate with a man.

Double ick.

Of course the girl was a member of the Harris County High Tech Crimes Unit. They monitor craigslist for ads like this in their area. Let me repeat that. The local police monitor craigslist ads. I don’t think this is the community policing that craigslist has in mind. If police departments across the country are monitoring their website and they aren’t then there is an obvious problem that craigslist continues to choose to ignore.

Stringer allegedly admitted to police that he had met other girls through craigslist. Again, when potato faced scumbags like this are caught it usually isn’t their first rodeo. Also sleep well Humble, Texas Mr. Potato Head here is out on bond.

I don’t know how I missed this story before but here we are.

35-year-old Eric G. Lowe of Sacramento, California was recently sentenced for soliciting sex from an underage girl on craigslist. Lowe posted an ad on craigslist seeking a young girl for a “Daddy/Daughter incest relationship”. Yep, I like I need a chemical shower after typing that. A 13-year-old girl named Amy responded to Lowe’s ad and began corresponding with him. He would ask Amy things like when was her mother going to be out of the house and can she bring a friend. Amy was actually an undercover police detective. After investigators searched Lowe’s computer they found that he was conversing with an actual teen from another town and was in possession of child porn. Lowe told investigators that he preferred 9-year-olds and admitted that he molested an underage girl. Ok, now I’m going to have to take a chemical shower and scrub with steel wool. Ick.

So what did this sick bitch get for all his troubles. 10 years in jail, 10 years on probation and a place on the sex offender registry. Not enough prison time. When he gets out, in probably less than 10 years since it’s California, probation and the registry is not going to be nearly enough to discourage an obvious predator like Lowe.

Also Lowe’s ad was allowed to sit on craigslist for months and nothing was ever done about it. Craigslist seems to have no problem with pedophiles using their site to find victims and the media refuses to call them out on it. A tragic cycle of apathy while children are being molested.
