Canadian craigslist creeper said put the age of your kids in the subject line

Sex offender arrested again for allegedly targeting kids:

Frank Cunningham

Frank Cunningham

33-year-old Frank Cunningham of Newmarket, Ontario, is a registered sex offender with a number of infractions to his name. In 2004 he was convicted of sexually assaulting a little girl and in 2005 was convicted for luring a child over the internet. Apparently Canadian prison agrees with him because he’s been arrested again, this time for allegedly trying to lure children through craigslist. The way he tried luring them is downright repugnant.

Police say that Cunningham posted an ad on craigslist looking to meet single mothers where he talked about cuddling up with the mothers to watch chick flicks. You can see a picture of the creepy ad he placed on craigslist in the linked article. However it’s not the mother’s he was really after, it was their children since he placed in the ad “put the age of your kid/kids” in the subject line.

Cunningham did get at least one response to his ad, the local police posing as a single mom. They had been tipped off that someone had been posting ads like this in order to gain access to the children. Police say that they also found child porn in Cunningham’s home. At this time they do not believe that any children were harmed this time by Cunningham. They are asking for anyone who has come into contact with Cunningham to call them.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police at 1-866-876-5423 ext. 7078. Anonymous tips can be left through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477, visiting 1800222tips.com, or texting YORK and your tip to CRIMES (274637).

Even still there are people who walk around with their heads in the clouds thinking that craigslist is still a safe place to meet someone. It doesn’t matter if you’re male, female, gay, straight, or whatever, craigslist is not the ideal place to meet someone new. The chances are too great they’ll turn out to be someone like this.

Kik, Facebook and Snapchat: Ohio man hits the creeper trifecta

Man arrested on sex charges involving girls:

Man Meets Girls on Social Media, Arrested on Sex-Related Charges:

Brian Scott Sibley

Brian Scott Sibley

Zippy the Pinhead’s even more brain addled cousin is 27-year-old Brian Scott Sibley of Vinton, Ohio. He was recently arrested by Scioto County Sheriffs for allegedly having sex (child rape) with an underage girl.

Police received a tip from the mother of a 15-year-old girl who said an older man was communicating with her daughter and her daughter’s 11-year-old friend through Facebook, Kik and Snapchat. Great, a creeper who employs redundancy measures. Further investigation revealed that not only did Sibley allegedly solicit explicit photos from the girls, which police say he received, but he also is said to have had sex with one of the girls. I want to say I hope it wasn’t with the 11-year-old girl but I don’t want the other girl to be the victim either.

Police posed as the girl and convinced Sibley they were going to have sex with him but instead was arrested at the arranged meeting place.

As I’ve said before parents, it’s not just your kids’ computers you have to monitor but their cell phones as well. Unfortunately you can’t watch over your kids shoulder while they’re using their cell phones away from home but you should be checking their phones for these apps and their attached friends list regularly.

RSO wanted vibe to be right with craigslist teen

Milwaukee police nab convicted sex offender in online sting operation:

Dale Lamont Williams

Dale Lamont Williams

Police in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have arrested Dale Lamont Williams for allegedly soliciting a 15-year-old boy for sex through craigslist. Police there say that Williams posted an ad on craigslist looking for sex with someone young. When the 15-year-old asked Williams if he was ok with the boy’s age Williams was said to respond with…

“As long as you can carry yourself like an adult when you get here and the vibe is right. I’m cool.”

Williams then instructed the boy on how to get to his residence by bus. It’s always by bus with some creepers.

If you’ve been reading this site for any length of time you should know by now that the 15-year-old boy was actually a detective who is part of Wisconsin’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. It turns out that Williams is a registered sex offender who was wanted in Illinois for failure to register. Wow, another sex offender who re-offended. What are the odds? And he used craigslist too. This story seems so unlikely. Ok, that’s enough sarcasm for now.

It really should come as no surprise that a registered sex offender used craigslist to find his next victim. They know that craigslist itself does nothing to prevent these type of ads from being posted.

WI man gets shut down by 12-year-old girl on Snapchat

Man, 19, charged with sending inappropriate photos of himself to girl, 12:

snapchat

19-year-old Brandon M. Schallock of Juneau, Wisconsin, is accused of sending a picture of his junk to a 12-year-old girl over the ‘temporary’ photo sharing app Snapchat. Now usually when that happens it takes a while for someone of any authority to find out usually because the suspect has groomed the victim into some kind of twisted relationship. Not here.

After receiving the photo, the girl said she sent back a message stating “not cool” and blocked Schallock from messaging her.

Nice. There’s only one thing I can add to that.

AL man charged with running sex tourism trade on craigslist

Man arrested in connection with sex tourism business:

Patrick Minga

Patrick Minga

Just when you think the sex crimes on craigslist couldn’t get any more depraved a story like this comes along.

50-year-old Patrick Minga of Huntsville, Alabama, was recently arrested for allegedly running a sex tourism business that advertised on craigslist. In case you’re unfamiliar with what sex tourism is it’s when a travel organization arranges trips to places like Thailand in order for their customers to have sex with underage children. In this case investigators say that Minga was allegedly arranging trips to Ecuador and Colombia for customers to have sex with girls that were 13 and under. I would love to know how the ad was worded.

Minga was being investigated by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in Florida since that’s where they say the trips were originating from. He’s looking at 30 years for attempted sex trafficking.

Isn’t it funny how craigslist’s vaunted community policing didn’t catch this ad but the real police did? I guess it’s probably because craigslist’s community police were too busy responding to the ad.

Craigslist, it’s past time that you started monitoring your own site. Clean up your yard.

California Kik Kreeper extorted pre-teens for pictures

Man uses threats to get young girls to send him nude pictures:

‘Sextortion’ suspect set for freedom:

Child porn, exploitation suspect ordered to home incarceration:

kik

25-year-old Brian Caputo of Arvin, California is a Grade-A scumbag, allegedly. He’s accused of posing as a young girl on Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, and Kik as a young girl in order to gain the trust of other young girls on these platforms. He would use aliases like Giavanna Derann, Catness Love and Melissa Harpson to convince girls from ages eight to 13 to send him nude photos.

Let’s stop right there for a second. While I’m sure the parents of the victims are horrified over what has transpired no eight-year-old needs to be on any of these services. Not even under the supervision of a parent. Secondly is this a thing that teen or teen girls send naked pics to each other? It sure as hell wasn’t in my day by cracky.

Once Caputo would receive any of these pictures then he would blackmail his victims into sending him more pictures or he would make the pictures he already has public. He tried blackmailing a 12-year-old girl from El Paso, Texas, into sending him pics and if she didn’t he would release the pictures of her 11-year-old friend. Instead the girl went to her parents who in turn went to police.

Caputo is not only accused of possessing child porn but trading the pictures he received as well. When questioned by police Caputo tried claiming that whoever was doing it was stealing his wi-fi.

So you think a predatory scumbag like Caputo would be kept under the jail while awaiting trial. Nope. He’s currently under house arrest at his mommy’s house where his underage sister was forced to move out. Does anybody want to lay odds he gets in trouble again before going to trial?

This assclown intrigues me so I’ll be keeping a close eye on this story.

UPDATE 3/13/2014: The courts have come to their sense and have revoked Caputo’s house arrest. He’s now being held without bond.

Chicago man accused of sexual abuse of craigslist teen

Chicago man arrested in connection with aggravated criminal sexual abuse of Evanston teen:

ccl

This story is so short it was only published in a local police blotter but it deserves more attention than that.

A 14-year-old boy from Evanston, Illinois, posted an ad on craigslist where he would engage in sex for money. police in Evanston say 43-year-old Alejandro Costilla allegedly responded to the ad and had sex with the teen. Costilla has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and patronizing a minor engaged in prostitution.

Some would have you believe that there are no teens on craigslist.

SC mom holds Kik Kreeper for police with BB gun

Fort Mill mom holds man accused of having sex with her daughter at BB gunpoint:

Addison Pittman

Addison Pittman

23-year-old Addison Pittman picked the wrong bedroom to be allegedly caught in. Pittman is said to have met a 15-year-old girl from Fort Mill, South Carolina, over the instant messaging app Kik. Police say that Pittman had sex with the girl at her house then tried sneaking out of her bedroom window. What he didn’t count on was being spotted by a pissed off mother.

The mom is said to have used a BB rifle to jeep Pittman from escaping until police arrived. Pittman seemed to be under the impression that the gun was real.

“Please … please do not send me to jail,” the mother said, quoting Pittman. “I said, ‘You should’ve thought about that before you entered my home, into my 15-year-old’s bedroom. Whatever happens now, you deserve.’ ”

Mom also wanted what every parent would want in this kind of situation…

If not for police intervention, Pittman “would’ve gotten beat up,” the girl’s mom said. “I think I would’ve beaten him to a pulp. …I wanted to. I wanted five minutes with him. I asked the officer to please give me five minutes, that’s all I wanted. And, I would’ve put him in the hospital.”

I bet the police would have really loved to given her those five minutes too.

The only question I have about this story is how did they meet through Kik? You can only contact someone on Kik if you know their username so I wonder where the exchange of usernames took place.

Ga. principal says he ‘taught’ other girls

Douglas principal charged with attempted child sex released on $50,000 bond:

John Harold McGill

John Harold McGill

John Harold McGill is an elementary school principal in Georgia. I would imagine that the school district is trying to relieve him of that position since he was arrested in DeKalb County during a craigslist predator sting. McGill allegedly responded to an ad placed by investigators posing as a woman who was offering her teenage daughter for sex. McGill allegedly responded by saying that “he has taught other girls and he would go slow.”

A statement like that would lead me to believe that this isn’t McGill’s first dalliance into underage girls, only the first time he’s been caught. McGill’s lawyer is arguing that his client didn’t do anything wrong because of the wording of the arrest warrant.

“There’s no mention of the (girl’s) age in that warrant,” Pilgrim said. “The warrant said ‘teenage daughter.’ That could mean 16 or 18. The evidence is different than the warrant.”

I’m sure the investigators have enough documentation saying what age the purported teenage girl was and I get the feeling it was under the legal age of consent. I don’t think that McGill would be into ‘teaching’ 18-year-olds.

McGill is also out on $50,000 bond.

If McGill had ‘taught’ other girls I wonder how many of them were from craigslist. If you think no real parent would actually turn out their kid on craigslist like this you’d be very sadly mistaken. It’s real, it does happen and craigslist does nothing to stop it.

Montana man charged as MeetMe molester

Billings man charged with raping two girls:

Ronald Curtis Brown

Ronald Curtis Brown

I have to give the news station credit for using the word rape in the headline. It may be statutory rape but it’s still rape nonetheless, but I’m getting a head of myself.

29-year-old Ronald Curtis Brown of Billings, Montana is accused of using social site MeetMe to have sex with at least two underage girls. Police say that Brown’s MeetMe profile listed his age as anywhere between 13 and 16. I’m not exactly sure how he pulled off that cunning ruse.

One of his victims is 14 and police say that he would pick her up at school during lunch so they could have sex. That’s not creepy in the least. It’s also being said that she was aware of Brown’s true age. Police were led to Brown when the girl’s mother found messages from Brown on the girl’s iPod Touch. His second victim is 15 and they allegedly had sex at Brown’s home while Brown’s 3-year-old daughter was in the next room. To top it all off police caught up to him by posing as a 13-year-old girl on Kik. So no using the ‘she said she was 18′ defense here. Although at the time of his arrest police say he tried using the ‘I was hacked’ excuse which really doesn’t work when the police know the exact time and location you’re supposed to meet someone from the ‘hacked’ messages.

Montana prosecutors aren’t fooling around though as they’ve charged Brown with 13 felony counts of sexual abuse of children and sexual intercourse without consent and are holding him on $200,000 bond. That’s much better than the usual slap on the wrists we’ve seen on some suspects.
