Zombie Accomplished

It seems I have forgotten a very obvious phrase of the Zombie Left. It’s so obvious that it could have held a protest march right in front of me while burning effigies of President Bush and I would have missed it. As my dad used to say “You couldn’t find it if it was going to jump out and bite you.” Never mind that if it was going to jump out and bite me I wouldn’t be looking for it. Anyway, I digress. As you’ve probably figured out today’s knee jerk phrase of the Zombie Left is “Mission Accomplished”. Whenever there is a setback in Iraq, usually a soldier being killed, the Zombie Left refer smugly to that picture and say “Mission Accomplished” sarcastically. It’s as almost if they relish it whenever a U.S. soldier gets killed. What they are referring to is the speech that President Bush gave in May of 2003 on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln where he declared that the majority of fighting was over in Iraq. Behind him was a banner declaring “Mission Accomplished”. While I agree that saying the majority of fighting was over was a bit premature, the banner had nothing to do with that speech. The banner was actually put there by the crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln. The ship was returning home after a 10 month international deployment.

“It truly did signify a mission accomplished for the crew,” Navy Cmdr. Conrad Chun said, adding the president’s visit marked the end of the ship’s 10-month international deployment.

So add this to the lexicon of the left that will get you disqualified for using in a political argument. Unless your point was to make yourself look like an unoriginal, blind party following, non-researching assclown. Then it’s “Mission Accomplished”.

The Zombie Left Hits The Links

We have another phrase to add to the lexicon of the Zombie Left today. It’s a phrase that’s now about as worn out as “where’s the Beef?” and yet the Zombie Left keeps spouting it ad nauseam. A lot of the Zombie Left have been using the phrase “Now watch this drive” to try to show that President Bush is flippant or glib about the war on terror. The quote is now infamous for being in King of All Assclowns Michael Moore’s propaganda film Fahrenheit 9/11. If you haven’t been assaulted by this catchphrase here is the context of it as it was presented in a Washington Post article from 2002…

Bush, wearing khakis and a knit shirt, was holding a driver in his gloved left hand. The rest of his foursome, including his father, former president George H.W. Bush, was waiting. However incongruous the setting, the president plunged ahead. “There are a few killers who want to stop the peace process that we have started, and we must not let them,” he said. “I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers.”

His business out of the way, Bush barely paused for breath before saying, “Thank you. Now watch this drive.”

Technically this should fall under the Michael Moore rule since it came from his alleged documentary but it has taken on a life of its own. It’s funny how the Zombie Left never said anything about this quote until it appeared in Moore’s film. It is a 2-year-old quote after all. But since the King of all Assclowns Michael Moore said it than the typical Pavlovian response from the Zombie Left was to repeat it ad nauseam.

The president is also captured in a well-worn TV news clip, on a golf course, making a boilerplate response to a question on terrorism and then asking the reporters to watch his drive. Well, that’s what you get if you catch the president on a golf course. If Eisenhower had done this, as he often did, it would have been presented as calm statesmanship. If Clinton had done it, as he often did, it would have shown his charm.

During Eisenhower’s administration the media still had a level of respect for the office of the President. During Clinton’s administration the press fawned all over him. Of course since it was President Bush it just shows how “evil” he is because as we all know the Zombie Left would have you believe that Bush is the living embodiment of Hitler.

So “watch this drive” has officially joined the phrases that will automatically get you disqualified in a political argument. As I’ve said before it just shows your lack of originality and your inability to think for yourself. If you have used or use this phrase you have been assimilated in to the one mind collective of the Zombie Left. Way to sell out your individuality.

The Zombie Left vs. The Brown People

I’ve found another term that The Zombie Left uses that should automatically disqualify them from any argument they make. If you want to see previous phrases used by The Zombie Left you can check here and here.

The latest phrase is “the brown people”. It refers to any dark-skinned minority and usually used in a way to infer that all Republicans are racist white guys. We’re holding terrorists in Guantanamo Bay because we hate “the brown people”. We invaded Iraq because we hate “the brown people”. We want to close the borders because we hate “the brown people”. We want to put tighter controls on welfare because we hate “the brown people”. You know, maybe in their leftist imaginary utopia all minorities love each other but the reality is they don’t. I know blacks that don’t like Hispanics. I know Hispanics who don’t like Arabs. Hell, I even know people of all those ethnicities that look down at anyone who is on welfare.

Come to think of it the phrase “the brown people” seems awfully racist to me. It’s like lumping all those minorities together and calling them “those people”. In your quest to be politically correct you’ve become racist assclowns. Way to go lefties.

Return of The Zombie Left

I’ve found more phrases used by the Zombie Left that automatically DQ’s them from any argument.

Repugnicans or repugs. This has to be the worst play on words I’ve ever heard. Again this is from the movement of tolerance.

Quagmire. This is a favorite handed down by the leftist overlords. We removed a dictator from power. How is this a quagmire? You know if our soldiers hands weren’t tied by liberal enemy sympathizers they could get their job done a lot quicker.

Stolen Election. Can we get over this one already? George W. Bush had more electoral votes than Al Gore. He is not the first president to lose the popular vote but win the electoral vote. If all we went by was the popular vote candidates would only have to campaign in New York, California and Texas and the rest of our votes wouldn’t count.

Anybody but Bush. This may be the most pathetic one of them all. So you’re going to vote for Kerry just because he’s not Bush even though you don’t agree with Kerry’s platform either. Pathetic. I never bought the “lesser of two evils” argument. Either you believe in the man you vote for or you don’t.

Kerry served in Vietnam. I guess that depends on what your definition of “served” is. Anyway, let us hearken back to the 1996 election. Bob Dole is a decorated war hero. Bill Clinton never served a day. Yet military record wasn’t supposed to matter in the’96 election. However it’s supposed to matter now?

Just more samplings from the Zombie Left collective. Be liberal if you want, just be original. Think for yourself.

The Zombie Left

There’s this woman at my office. She’s ok as long as you’re not discussing politics. Then she becomes yet another member of the zombie left. What I mean by the zombie left is the people who just blindly spout the same catchphrases and buzzwords that the rest of the far left does. So I’ve come up with a list of words and phrases that if you use you’ve automatically lost any political argument just on lack of originality alone.

Shrub or any derivative there of.

Dubya or any variation.

Any primate reference.

Using oil and blood in the same sentence,

Anything that has ever spewed forth from the gob of Michael Moore.

Sheeple. This one cracks me up because it’s ok to blindly follow the philosophy of the left but if you do that for the right than you’re a sheep. Whatever.

The American Taliban. Comparing a conservative administration to an oppressive regime is just idiotic. If that was in fact true than you would be jailed just for using that phrase. This replaces the old standby of “Bush is a nazi” which also gets you DQ’d for unoriginality.

Faux News. Listen people. Bill O’Riley is not a journalist. He’s paid to give his opinion. As far as actual news goes I think FNC does an ok job. It’s not like their making shit up like some of you think.

Neocon. Neocon actually refers to someone who used to be a liberal, usually someone who is Jewish, who became a conservative during the Reagan administration. I didn’t vote in my first presidential election until the Bush/Dukakis election, so the label doesn’t apply.

Any phrase that rhymes.

Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. If you have anymore feel free to leave a comment. Anyway be liberal if you want. That’s your prerogative. Just think for yourself and be original. Don’t become assimilated into the zombie left collective.
