Medical Experts: Don’t blame shootings on Asperger’s

Blaming shootings on autism a mistake: experts:

I was going to just add this as an update to my post about the Isla VIsta shootings but I decided that this not only needs its own post and I didn’t want to give that narcissistic pissant any more undue attention.

Anyway, blaming killings on Asperger’s is nothing new. It didn’t start with Adam Lanza and probably won’t end with this latest assclown. As far back as 2005 I’ve been trying to make it clear to the more ignorant among us that Asperger’s does not cause nor is it an excuse for mass killings. If you won’t believe me will you believe a medical expert in the field of Autism?

Dr. Daniel Son, a Los Angeles psychiatrist, says Asperger’s actually does not exist as an official diagnosis among mental health professionals anymore, though it still is a commonly used term. He says as of a year ago, it now is simply considered part of the autism spectrum, and most who had been diagnosed with Asperger’s are thought to be high functioning and able to live relatively normal lives.

Son, who treats a number of young autism patients, says that obsessive behavior can result from the disease and patients can become fixated on certain issues. But other factors usually come into play when behavior becomes overwhelmingly violent.

“It’s really more associated with a troubled upbringing rather than the autism,” Son said.

Emphasis mine.

I’ll go one step further than that and say it was bad parenting. John Odgren was allowed to keep an extensive knife collection while having an unhealthy obsession with forensics and how he thought he could get away with the perfect murder. Adam Lanza was allowed unfettered access to guns even though his mother knew he had mental issues unrelated to Asperger’s. Lastly it seems that the no one told the Santa Barbara scumbag growing up that the world doesn’t owe him anything no matter how much money he has.

In reality these three are just more examples of how we’re raising generations of emotional marshmallows with an over-inflated sense of entitlement. The only things that are responsible for these crimes are the egomaniacs that committed them.

Trench on the Isla Vista shootings

Not pictured Elliot Rodger

Not pictured Elliot Rodger

I debated on whether or not I would post about the Isla Vista shootings then I figured maybe both of my readers would like to hear my thoughts. This will probably be the only post I make on the subject.

The media seems to want to make this out as some sort of school shooting as evidenced by all the news alerts I keep receiving about the deadliest campus shootings in US history referencing names like Cho Seung-Hui and Stephen Kazmierczak. Even though a lot f residents of Isla Vista attend UC Santa Barbara I would not consider this a school shooting in the unfortunate sense we’ve all come to know even though there are similarities.

Like most school shooters Elliot Rodger had an over-inflated sense of entitlement and used violence to try to resolve his own inadequacies. As evidenced in his YouTube videos Rodger felt that he not only deserved women but that the world owed it to him. It’s also believed that Rodger died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound like also like most school shooters. What I prefer to call taking the coward’s way out. Rodger also had many online rants and manifestos documenting his ‘plight’. Even with all those similarities I wouldn’t call this a school shooting or even a campus shooting as Rodger did not attend UCSB and didn’t see the school as the root of the problem. Not to mention that the shooting didn’t even take place on campus. None of that matters anyway since a number of families are mourning the victims of this spoiled psychopathic assclown.

Let’s examine his supposed motive for a second. Rodger felt slighted by the world because he was 22, didn’t have a girlfriend and was still a virgin. To that I say, get in line pal. I was one of those kids who didn’t have a girlfriend all though high school. To me rejection from a woman was the worst possible thing I could possibly think of. It wasn’t until I was almost 20 until I lost my virginity and I didn’t have rich parents or a cool car either. When most guys are frustrated that they can’t find a woman they engage in a certain private activity and go to sleep, not commit mass murder. For any kids out there that think what this scumbag did is the way to go I say wait. You may be without a girl now but more than likely you will find your stride. Be patient, I eventually found mine and I was a geek before it was even remotely considered cool.

Another thing I wanted to touch on is that I’ve seen reports that say Rodger had Asperger’s. Again I have to reiterate to the more ignorant among us that not every person with Asperger’s is a killer in waiting. While it may have explained his lack of game with the female persuasion Rodger was obviously broken in other ways That caused him to think that committing mass murder was the rational response to not having a girlfriend. You can’t have a girlfriend when you’re dead and you’ll probably be one in prison.

Life isn’t fair kids. It never has been and it never will be. Sometimes the douchebag will get the hot girl. That’s just the way it is. The sooner you learn that and accept it the better off you’ll be as a more well-adjusted human being. You can’t change the world but you can change the world around you by being a better person.

Aspereger’s did not cause Newtown

Don’t Blame Adam Lanza’s Violence on Asperger’s:

Adam Lanza

Adam Lanza

I can’t believe we keep having to go over this. Then again it’s hard to wage a war on ignorance when the ignorant want to stay that way.

For those of you who may not know Asperger’s Syndrome is a form of Autism where the sufferer has trouble with social situations and has trouble discerning different types of speech like sarcasm. That’s just a very basic explanation of it. What Asperger’s doesn’t do is turn someone into a homicidal maniac.

Yes there have been violent killers who have suffered from Asperger’s. The one’s that come to mind for me are William Freund, John Odgren, and of course Adam Lanza.

Another thing that Asperger’s doesn’t do is that it doesn’t diminish your ability to tell right from wrong. While Asperger’s may be seen as a mental disease Lanza and the others knew full well what they were doing and what they were doing was wrong. Newtown was not just some outburst. Lanza had planned it for months as did Freund and Odgren. The only drawback in these cases with Asperger’s, if you can call it a drawback, is that Apserger’s patients tend to be highly intelligent and organized hence the ‘success’ of these attacks. However these attacks are the exception and not the rule.

The problem is that too many people in our society believe correlation is causation. They believe that since these killers had Asperger’s that everyone that has Asperger’s is a potential mass murderer. It also doesn’t help that too many criminal defense lawyers are using Asperger’s as a defense in murder trials, as shown with that of John Odgren. Then lastly there’s the people who have self-diagnosed themselves as having Asperger’s. Asperger’s cannot just be diagnosed by going to WebMD. It has to be diagnosed by a medical professional. If you tell people you have Asperger’s and you’ve never seen a doctor about it chances are you’re just an anti-social jerk.

Stop living in fear of everything. Knowledge is power and the more knowledge you have the better off we’ll all be.

Portland craigslist creeper says he did it for a ‘friend’

Lucas Gautreaux

Lucas Gautreaux

Feds arrest man in Portland hotel on accusations of seeking sex with girl:

The FBI has arrested 33-year-old Lucas James Gautreaux, of Portland, Oregon for allegedly soliciting sex from an underage girl on craigslist. The Portland PD notified the feds after they noticed a casual encounters ad that was posted by someone lookingt to have sex either with someone’s wife or little girl.

A Portland detective who is a member of an FBI task force set up a meeting with Gautreaux at a hotel bar. The detective posed as a man with a 12-year-old daughter who would let Gautreaux have sex with her. How the arrest went down is a classic…

Eventually, they went to a fourth-floor hotel room. Inside, the shower was running, and the detective told Gautreaux that his daughter was taking a shower. The detective asked if his daughter was almost done.

Soon, the water stopped, and the bathroom door opened.

FBI agents came out and took Gautreaux into custody. They read him his Miranda rights.

While this is not a comical issue I just have this image of all these FBI agents storming out of the bathroom like it was a clown car before tackling this scumbag in a giant pile of pissed off agents.

As usual with these creeps Gautreaux had his excuses all ready. According to investigators not only did he say that he has Asperger’s, like that’s relevant, he said that he was really checking out the situation for a ‘friend’ who is a cameraman who makes porn. Hey buddy, that does not make your situation any better under any circumstances even if it was true.

So I still don’t get it. A few years ago MySpace was crawling with pedophiles and predators and everyone was so up in arms about it from the highest level of government to your local soccer mom yet no one gives a crap that they’ve all migrated to craigslist. Again I ask where is useful outrage when you need it?

The Lanza search warrants

Adam Lanza

Adam Lanza

Newtown Killer’s Obsessions, in Chilling Detail:

The search warrants for the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut were made public on Thursday. You can read the article for the entire list of what they found at the home of Adam Lanza. I’m just going to over a few of the things that caught my attention.

The amount of weaponry that was found leads me to believe that Nancy Lanza may have just been spoiling her son with his obsession. I’ve posted about something similar in the stabbing of James Alenson by John Odgren in the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High stabbing. Odgren was allowed to keep a vast knife collection and stabbed a random target to death in his high school bathroom. The similarities continue between Odgren and Lanza as books on Autism and Asperger’s were found in the Lanza household. As I have mentioned several times in the past people like Odgren and Lanza are not indicative of all Asperger’s patients. They’re not all potential killers waiting to explode and to use Asperger’s as an excuse or defense for murder is just a way of spreading F.U.D.

Here I’m going to show my true ignorance about firearms. The reports say that Lanza was in possession of 10 magazines that held 30 rounds each for the Bushmaster he used in the killings. I have to ask is there any civilian reason for having that many magazines? Are they interchangeable with other firearms? Again, this leads me to believe that Lanza was just a spoiled brat.

There are conflicting reports about whether Lanza was bullied or not while in school. Now before you start the pity party for Lanza let’s remember that he was 20-years-old when he committed mass murder and had been out of school since 10th grade. If you’re holding on to a bullying grudge for that long not only are you in desperate need of mental help but you’re letting your bullies win by letting them live in your head rent free.

Also found at the Lanza home was a crime scene photo of a victim that was covered in blood and draped in plastic and a newspaper clipping about the shooting at Northern Illinois University. Between the NIU clipping, the spreadsheet and the documentation the Nickel Mines shooting I’m starting to lean towards Lanza being nothing more than a copycat killer. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that Lanza was a card-carrying mutant. For those of you new to the site that’s the term I sue for people who are admirers of school shooters, especially the Columbine cowards.

And once again the spectre of video games, especially Call of Duty, has been brought up. Video games did not cause Adam Lanza or anybody else to kill. Call of Duty is one of the most popular games in modern-day video game history and there have not been a rash of killings because of this or any other game. They are not ‘murder-simulators’ as some people like to call them. They don’t teach you how to shoot or how to handle a gun unless your gun is controlled by an Xbox controller.

There is only one thing responsible for the senseless death and tragedy at Newtown and that was Adam Lanza and nothing else. While we may never know his actual motive it’s pointless trying to blame guns or video games or other inanimate objects. Evil is created in the mind not through a lifeless hunk of metal or plastic.

More thoughts on Newtown

Nancy Lanza

Nancy Lanza

I’m a little scatterbrained trying to get this post together so you may have to bear with me if it seems a little disorganized but there’s a lot more ground I’d like to cover.

First up a little news. We may never know the motive behind why Adam Lanza decided to attack Sandy Hook Elementary. The New York Times is reporting that Adam Lanza had no real connection to the school….

There was “no connection” between Adam Lanza and Sandy Hook Elementary School, a Connecticut State Police spokesman said Monday afternoon. There had been earlier reports that Mr. Lanza had attended the school as a child. It was not immediately clear if “no connection” meant that Mr. Lanza had not attended the school.

On top of that Nancy Lanza was not nor has ever been a teacher at the school.

Meanwhile The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Adam Lanza had smashed his computer to bits prior to the tragedy possibly to thwart the investigation into the shooting…

The damaged evidence raised the possibility that Mr. Lanza’s rampage may have been premeditated and not a result of a spontaneous decision.

Lastly there is NO TRUTH to the RUMOR that Adam Lanza got into a fight with four teachers at the school the day before the killings…

[Updated at 6:22 p.m. ET] Earlier reports that the suspected shooter, Adam Lanza, had an altercation with four adults at the school on Thursday have been investigated and are not accurate, according to a law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation.

Lt. J. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police noted in a news conference Saturday that he knew of no reports about Lanza being involved in any altercations at the school.

Remember this one kids, it becomes important later.

Now on to the opinion…

NANCY LANZA: I’m usually the first person to jump on the parents of a school shooter if they turned a blind eye to the warning signs. I can’t do that in this case. By all accounts Nancy Lanza was more involved in her son’s life than most parents that don’t have a special needs child are. She was willing to pull up roots and move to wherever Adam wanted to go to college just to make sure he could get a good start on a new life. So even I was taken aback when I saw some Nancy Lanza hate on the internet today. I’m hoping it’s just from a small and ignorant minority. By all accounts she was her son’s greatest ally and she was shot in the face repeatedly for it.

MORE ON GUNS: Something I forgot to mention about arming teacher’s in yesterday’s post. If you arm all the teachers with firearms then all those guns are nothing more than a shopping list for a potential school shooter. If school shooters can obtain weapons through straw man gun purchases or steal them from their parents lifting one from a teacher would be no hard challenge. Arming teachers would only work in a perfect world and ours is far from perfect.

COPYCATS: I’m not going to post about ever loser that has made a threat on Facebook or to their wives or whatever in the wake of Newtown. These are the people who are actually looking for some kind of fame. Unless it was a credible threat I will not be posting about those jackholes here.

BLOGGERS BEING ASSHOLES AND SPREADING MYTHS: Earlier today I was reading an L.A. Times article about Dave Cullen’s book Columbine. In it it’s mentioned that reporting about Columbine was like playing a game of Telephone. If that’s the case (and it was) the reporting out of Newtown was like playing a game of Crappy Tracfone While Going Through A Tunnel In A Lead Lined Truck. So much misinformation was reported about Newtown and just seems to now being perpetuated by some bloggers. One blogger that I used to have a modicum of respect for is still posting that Lanza was at the school the day before the shootings. The only ‘news’ outlets that are still clinging to that part of the story are British tabloids and gossip blogs. This was also a blogger who laid the blame squarely at the feet of Nancy Lanza without hesitation. Another blogger I used to have respect for said that we need to round up all the ‘Aspies’ and put them in a concentration camp further disseminating a myth that Asperger’s automatically makes you a potential killer. (Please see my mea culpa in the comments.)

Granted there’s no school you have to go to in order to become a blogger but some of us actually take pride in our work and to see hacks like this doing a disservice to everybody makes all of us look bad.

One of my blogging mentors once told me controversial but be yourself. If these bloggers are being controversial for the sake of controversy then they’re just page count whores. If they are being true to themselves then I feel sorry for them for keeping themselves in such a state of ignorance.

The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting

sandyhook

We all know what happened by now, there’s no need for me to rehash it. Instead I’m going to address some things about Friday’s tragedy. Where to start is the only problem.

MENTAL HEALTH: First I want to address the whole Asperger’s issue. It’s being reported that Adam Lanza may have had Asperger’s syndrome which is a disorder on the Autism scale. As I’ve said multiple times on this site Asperger’s does not impair the sufferers ability to tell right from wrong. Several school killers and plotters have tried using Asperger’s as a defense. The one that leaps to mind is John Odgren who stabbed his classmate to death, James Alenson, at their Massachusetts high school. He was sentenced to life. To my recollection and through the stories that I’ve posted on this site no suspect ever claiming Asperger’s as a defense was ever acquitted.

My greatest fear is that with all these claims of Asperger’s as a criminal defense would not only lead to legitimate Asperger’s sufferers being labeled as potential mass murderers but that an Asperger’s defense will eventually lead to killers going free just because some quack testifies that they have Asperger’s. Not to mention that Asperger’s is not a mental disorder but a neurological one.

The other thing people have been saying in the wake of this tragedy is that it highlights the lack of mental healthcare in this country. That couldn’t be any further from the truth. As someone who has a mental illness I was able to get as much help as I needed. The problem was it’s not an overnight fix. It took years for me to finally get the right treatment and I’m a much better person because of it. There is no quick fix and a lot of people with mental illnesses get frustrated and impatient in trying to find the right help.

Another issue is that when people are receiving the right treatment start feeling better than think that they don’t need the treatment anymore and stop. Again this isn’t like a cold where you can just take some pills for a few days and everything is ok. Mental health issues can be a lifelong matter that you may have to deal with.

Also in this day and age there is still an issue of social stigma where mental health issues are concerned. Some of the more ignorant among us think there’s some kind of weakness in admitting that they have mental issues or see someone with mental issues as damaged goods and beyond repair.

Lastly there is a conflict in this country between mental health and civil rights. Unless someone is an immediate danger to themselves and others they cannot be forced to undergo treatment. Adam Lanza was 20 years old. By all rights he could not be forced to undergo any treatment if he didn’t want to as a legal adult.

There is no perfect solution when it comes to mental healthcare and acts of extreme violence. What the country needs is more education however too many people are too entrenched in their beliefs rather than facts.

GUNS: One of the more pro-gun arguments I saw on Friday and yesterday is that our teachers should be armed. One of the more frequent arguments I saw in this regard is that Israeli teachers are armed and the last school shooting there was 39 years ago that was committed by Palestinian terrorists. Here’s the parts that they’re leaving out in that argument. In Israel all citizens are required to serve in the military so they actually receive training in not only the weapons but in situations like an attack on a school. The other thing is that Israel is a country that is constantly at war and under attack. That would never work in the US. First off required military service will never happen in this country secondly can you imagine trying to tell the teachers’ unions in this country that they’ll be required to not only carry firearms but to undergo training in them? It’ll never happen. Also with no offense to teachers some of them among you are not the most outstanding citizens. We can’t hardly go a week without hearing about some teacher that was engaged in illegal activity usually involving one of their students. Now give them guns. Yeah, I don’t think so.

The anti-gun argument was about the ease of which American citizens have access to guns. By most accounts Nancy Lanza was a responsible gun owner and avid collector. I don’t know about the laws in Connecticut but if they’re anything like the gun laws in New Jersey it probably takes an act of God before you can own a gun. There is no pattern in school shootings on whether or not the guns were obtained illegally or not. In Columbine and Red Lake the guns were obtained illegally, in Virginia Tech and NIU they were not.

There is also a lot of ignorance when it comes to guns as well. A lot of people do not know what the terms in relation to guns mean. Some people will hear terms like automatic, semi-automatic and assault rifle and automatically think we’re talking about machine guns. Machine guns are fully automatic by the way and are illegal to own anywhere in this country if memory serves me right. The three types of guns I mentioned all have one thing in common. One trigger pull means one bullet.

Again when it comes to solving gun crimes in this country there are no easy answers. You can’t take the guns away from responsible citizens until you do something about all the illegal guns that are out there. Solve that problem and you probably have a Nobel prize on your way.

FAME/INFAMY: Another thing I noticed in the past couple of days were people saying that Adam Lanza’s name should never be published as it gives them the fame or infamy that they were looking for. I wholeheartedly disagree with this. I think that history’s most vile monsters should never be forgotten. In my opinion it’s similar to those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

Also let’s look at this realistically. Prior to Friday in my opinion there were four major school shootings in what I call the modern era. There was Columbine, Red Lake, NIU, and Virginia Tech. If you went up to the average person on the street not only would I doubt that they would be able to tell you who the shooters were in those instances most of them probably couldn’t even tell you that there we’re shootings at Red Lake or NIU. Most people only know the names of the most infamous of criminals. They remember names like Lee Harvey Oswald, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Timothy McVeigh, Charles, Manson, Osama Bin Laden and the like. I doubt most anyone could name Jeff Weise or Stephen Kazmierczak. For most of these shooters their ‘fame’ is fleeting at best. Even if Adam Lanza did want fame there’s not a lot he can do with it from hell.

MISINFORMATION: Nobody should be really surprised about this one. We live in a society where we need information now regardless of whether or not it’s correct. Somebody on Twitter said that they have never seen the media act so irresponsibly in a time of tragedy before. I replied back to them, I have, it was 13 years ago. How much misinformation was reported at the time of Columbine that still persist as pervasive myths today. In that time the national media really hasn’t learned anything and I doubt they ever will. Journalism in its myriad forms is not about reporting the truth anymore, it’s about being first and getting as many eyeballs as possible on their particular outlet.

It also didn’t help that a lot of people on social media wouldn’t wait for any kind of verification before repeating it ad nauseam on their respective profiles. How many times was Ryan Lanza’s Facebook passed around before it was confirmed that his brother was the shooter? We weren’t exactly helping ourselves with that one.

THE VICTIMS: Let’s never forget who this is really about. It’s not about your religion or lack of one and it’s not about your political views or your favorite politician. It’s about the over two dozen people, mostly small children who tragically and needlessly lost their lives on Friday.

One name I purposely left off the victims list was Nancy Lanza and not for reasons you may think. She most definitely was a victim. Please keep that in mind as the Lanza family has to also deal with this tragedy. Ryan Lanza and his father not only lost a son and brother and a mother and (ex-)wife but will probably live with the guilt of this tragedy. Please keep them included with your prayers and thoughts of the all the victims.

Teen sentenced to LWOP for murder and rape of 5-year-old girl

Dustin Wallace

Teen who raped and murdered girl, 5, gets life without parole:

In July of 2010 a then 16-year-old Dustin Wallace was arrested for the murder and rape of 5-year-old Sahara Dwight. Wallace’s father was visiting Sahara’s mother when the murder and rape took place in Roseburg, Oregon. As I’ve reluctantly posted before Wallace killed Sahara before raping her.

Wallace’s defense stated that he suffered from Aspereger’s and that if he was on his meds at the time he would not have committed these atrocities. As I’ve said many times before Asperger’s does not limit your ability to tell the difference between right and wrong. If Wallace didn’t know what he did was wrong he wouldn’t have tried to lie to investigators.

So far in my recollection Asperger’s has never been used successfully as a murder defense and it shouldn’t be. There are many people who legitimately have Asperger’s who would all be thought as prospective killers if a defense like that was to ever succeed.

Wallace was charged as an adult and was convicted back in June. This past week Wallace was sentenced to life without parole. I’m sure some people may think that this is an overly harsh sentence, those people are fools. Wallace is a monster and at the very least should be caged like one.

Killer and rapist of 5-year-old girl goes on trial

Dustin Wallace

Tears flow on witness stand in Roseburg murder trial:

Teen goes on trial in rape and murder of 5-year-old girl:

I haven’t posted about Dustin Wallace in a long time. In 2010 he was arrested for the murder and rape of 5-year-old Sahara Dwight. Disgustingly yes, it was in that order. Along with his father the then 16-year-old Wallace was visiting Sahara’s family in Roseburg, Oregon. Wallace’s father was dating Sahara’s mother. Wallace is said to have punched Sahara in the stomach and put his entire weight on top of her covering her mouth until she stopped moving. Then he raped her.

The reason I first posted about this story is because of Wallace’s age. In Oregon if anyone over the age of 15 is charged with a grave crime like this they’re automatically charged as an adult.

In my last post about Wallace I supposed that the defense would more than like try to raise some kind of mental defect defense even going so far as raising the bogeyman of Autism. I was right.

This past week during Wallace’s trial it was said by the defense that Wallace suffers from Asperger’s This is Trench’s shocked face. :o

She said the defendant suffers from Asperger’s syndrome and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which contribute to his lack of impulse control, mood swings, and difficulty relating to others. Although he takes medication for these conditions, Fine said he failed to bring them with him on his visit to Oregon.

To my knowledge Asperger’s has never been successfully used as a murder defense in child or adult and I doubt it will be this time. And again every time that Asperger’s is used as a defense, especially in such a monstrous crime like this, it makes people think that anyone who suffers with Asperger’s legitimately is a killer or child rapist just waiting for an opportunity.

There’s a kid in my extended family who has been medically diagnosed with Asperger’s and he is the nicest, most respectful and talented kid you’d ever want to meet and has not had one incidence of violence. Unfortunately because of self-diagnosed assclowns who are just socially inept and equally ignorant lawyers it’s going to be seen as some kind of killers’ disease if we’re not careful.

And where’s the kid criminal crowd on this one? I have hardly heard a peep out of them in a while. This case is tailor-made for them. The kid is white and claims to be an Aspie. How dare he be charged as an adult.

UPDATE 6/24/2012: Wallace was found guilty on all counts. Sentencing to come at a later date.

Stuart Little charged with mutant threat against Texas high school

Stuart Alexander Baxter Little

Pflugerville HS student arrested on felony terroristic threat charges:

Pflugerville ISD Student Arrested For Terroristic Threats:

17-year-old Stuart Alexander Baxter Little has been arrested for allegedly making threats against Pflugerville High School in Texas. Police say that Little used Facebook and e-mails to send threats of a school shooting to school staff and the Austin Police Department threatening a school shooting at the high school.

It also turns out that Stuart Little is a mutant. Not only was this school shooting supposed to take place on April 20th but he also supposedly used the oh so clever pseudonym of “Cire Sirrah”.

On the 20th of April police say that Little sent an e-mail to a TV station warning of the attack. That was when police were able to track him down and arrest him.

But it gets even better. His mom is begging authorities not to throw her autistic son in jail. I think I know where this is leading too. Probably it’s going to be claimed somewhere down the line that Little has Asperger’s and that will be used in his defense. However as I’ve said before these kind of defenses are not only medically inaccurate to insinuate that Asperger’s causes people to kill but it also spreads that kind of ignorance.

The kid is a mutant plain and simple and deserves to punished for his crimes.
