Accused serial rapist captured in Gwinnett County:

After being on the run for a week police in Gwinnett County, Georgia arrested 23-year-old Joseph Tyler Sivonda on rape charges. Police believe that Sivonda would order a prostitute off of Backpage and when they showed up to his apartment complex he would force them into a vacated apartment at gunpoint and rape them. Five victims have come forward but police say there may be more. However for someone who police believe is a serial rapist he’s only being held on $2400 bond. He should be held on at least a six figure bond. Anybody could post the bond that he got and he could be out at anytime looking for more victims.

Also this is yet another problem that Backpage has a hand in yet doesn’t do anything about as long as the money keeps coming in. They don’t care how many women and girls are raped, trafficked or killed.

Man, 24, charged with statutory rape after being found with missing girl, 14, who ran away with him after they met online:

Authorities in Georgia have arrested 24-year-old Raymundo Aranda-Parra of Norcross, Georgia and charged him with the statutory rape of a 14-year-old girl that he met on MocoSpace. Police say that Aranda-Parra allegedly made a 229 mile trip from Norcross to Glennville where he picked up the girl and took her to a hotel back in Norcross. So that’s more than 450 miles this assclown drove in order to get some underage tail.

Aranda-Parra is saying that the girl posed as a 19-year-old on the mobile gaming site which I’m sure will bring out all the creeper defenders. They’ll ignore the facts in this case because facts would interfere with their agenda of trying to make sex with underage kids accepted. The facts are that Aranda-Parra already had a run in with the girl’s parents when he showed up at their house. I can’t imagine that the girl’s father wouldn’t inform this scumbag at the time that his daughter was only 14. Not to mention that he took her to a hotel back in his hometown after secretly absconding with her from her house. In my opinion he knew what he was doing and was probably fully aware of her true age. So take your “this girl is equally liable” crap and shove it.

Anyway Eddie Munster there is 23-year-old Andrew Petronaci of Dacula, Georgia. He’s been charged with allegedly soliciting nude photos, aka child porn, from a 14-year-old on the former MyYearbook. No word on if the victim was male or female.

Petronaci was only given $5,700 bond which he posted and is now out. Sleep tight parents of Dacula. You just keep letting your kids use the internet unmonitored. What’s the worst that could happen right?

Men charged with pimping teens in Atlanta area:

Alleged gang members plead not guilty to sex trafficking:

Alleged members of Atlanta-based gang Da M.O.B. are accused of raping and prostituting girls as young as 14. They allegedly used the Village Voice Media owned Backpage.com to turn out the girls.

Those charged are Fabian Terran Murray, Joshua Thomas Hill, Richard Douglas King, Clinton Saintvil, and Jonathan Christopher Branch. All five have been federally indicted and all five have pleaded not guilty.

Authorities allege that they met two 14-year-old girls took them to a hotel room where they were raped before turning them out on Backpage to be raped by other men for money. It’s also alleged that one of them beat and choked another 14-year-old who refused to work for them. A 16-year-old victim claims that she was beaten daily and held against her will, She also claims that she was shot at when she tried to escape. She says that she was raped as well.

What’s not being talked about in this story is Backpage itself. They claim they have all these safeguards in effect and that all ads are reviewed fir illegalities yet somehow women and children are still being trafficked. Not only trafficked but held against their will, raped and shot at. Yet Backpage still refuses to shut down the adult section and claims that they’re helping stop sex trafficking. They could stop a lot more by shutting down the adult section but then they’re precious outdated print media business would be in danger of going bankrupt.

Suspect arrested in slaying of Atlanta drag queen:

Police in Dunwoody, Georgia have arrested 20-year-old Christopher Williams in the shooting death of 30-year-old Roberto Calderon-Guzman. Calderon-Guzman was known around some Atlanta circles as drag queen Noxy Cassandra Calderon. The article from GA Voice seems to insinuate that Calderon-Guzman was advertising on the Village Voice Media owned backpage.com as a transsexual sex worker.

Williams is accused of robbing another transsexual sex worker as well. Police say that Williams used the phone of the first victim to set up the meeting with Calderon-Guzman.

Police believe there may be other victims as well…

I’m not here to trash someone’s lifestyle choice but if you put yourself out there on Backpage for whatever reason you’re opening yourself up to predators and killers. And while Backpage may not have the number of killers that craigslist has racked up over the years they’re slowly starting to catch up.

Gwinnett Police Officer Arrested:

Like I said recently about our nation’s military I have the utmost respect for the men and women in law enforcement in our country. They really do have a thankless task. However I will post about a dirty cop when the occasion sadly arises. Now one doesn’t have to be ‘on the take’ to be dirty, one can be a sexual predator as well.

For example take 26-year-old Gwinnett, Georgia rookie cop David Lowe. He was recently arrested by his own department for allegedly sharing sexually explicit videos with minors on MyYearbook. The impression that I got from the articles on Lowe he allegedly created a MyYearbook profile posing as a teen. Supposedly MyYearbook limits what age group you can communicate with. If you were to list your age on your profile as 26 then you wouldn’t be able to chat with minors through the site. However as I’ve documented many times in the past that doesn’t mean that predators can’t lie about their age in their profiles.

Surprisingly Lowe is set to be terminated by the Gwinnett Police Department if he hasn’t been already. That’s refreshing since I’ve posted too many stories of bad cops who get suspended with pay.

UPDATE 5/29/2012: Lowe is out on bail.

Alleged Craigslist rapist has extensive criminal history:

I’m not trying to make light of rape. It’s a horrible crime that for some victims I’m sure can be considered worse than murder. However if the State of Georgia produces another craigslist rapist I’m officially going to ask for the water to be tested.

The most recent alleged craigslist rapist is 25-year-old Darrell Delane Cash of Cobb County. He’s accused of raping and robbing prostitutes that advertised on craigslist and backpage. Police say that Cash would have them meet him in uninhabited homes in an unincorporated section of Marietta where he would rape and rob them.

I recoil in horror to think what may have happened to his victims if they went back to their pimps and told them that they were robbed of their money. Cash may have only been the tip of the violent iceberg if that happened.

Cash was arrested last week and held without bond.

This is just one more reason for craigslist to moderate its site because obviously prostitution ads are still occurring and this is yet another reason why backpage should get rid of the adult section entirely.

Geebo.com on the other hand got rid of its personals section to make sure this didn’t happen on their site.

Authorities Search for Victims of Possible Serial Rapist:

Authorities in Douglas County, Georgia believe that 26-year-old Calvin Gene of Dallas, Georgia is a serial rapist that uses craigslist to find his victims.

Police say that Gene is responsible for three rapes in Dekalb and Douglas Counties of women that were allegedly craigslist escorts. The rapes are said to have taken place back in September. That’s the same time that craigslist pulled adult services from their US websites.

Gene allegedly would go up to where ever the women were staying then would force his way in at gunpoint, rape the women then rob them of their money and belongings. Gene is also a trucker so police believe he may have had more victims up and down the east coast.

Let me give a warning to potential rapists out there. If you think you’re going to get away with raping a prostitute you’re dead wrong. Rape is probably the worst thing you can do to any woman no matter if her line of work is legal or not. They will go to the police and you will be caught.

If craigslist had shut down adult services sooner these rapes probably would not have happened.

Craigslist sex trafficker gets 17 years:

27-year-old Christopher Pressley of College Park, Georgia has been sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for prostituting underage girls on craigslist.

Pressley, aka “Daddy”, “CP”, “C-Peezy”, “CP the Young Don”, “The Don”, “Super Swag Shawty”, and “Papi”, was busted for pimping out a 16 and 17-year-old girl.

While it’s good to see these child trafficking scumbags sent to prison the johns that solicit these girls need to do some hard prison time to shut down the demand.

POLICE: Thursday murder involved botched Craigslist motorcycle sale:

Your latest craigslist killer that isn’t Philip Markoff is allegedly 26-year-old Brandon Kent. He is accused in the shooting death of 26-year-old Thai Lam in Savannah, Georgia.

Lam was selling his motorcycle on craigslist and friends say he was meeting someone to sell it at the time he was shot. Police say that Kent was leaving on Lam’s bike just as they arrived. Police chased him to an apartment complex and spotted him trying to leave in an SUV.

He’s pleaded not guilty and held without bond.

But you won’t see this story either in the mainstream media since it happened in the south. Nope, no craigslist killings from the South or Midwest. Just from Boston and New York.
