Gaddafi accused of rape war crimes

It seems that Libya dictator Muammar Gaddafi has been accused by the International Criminal Court of ordering his troops to rape hundreds of women in response to those who are protesting for freedom in Libya.

I remember about 8 years ago where another Middle Eastern dictator was ordering his troops to rape his own citizens but barely anyone in the international community was willing to do anything about him.

So I ask again, what has changed?

Thanks to @USCrime for the tip.

Freedom for some…

You know, I’ve been trying to stay away from politics because anymore there is no real political discourse anymore. It’s usually just one side yelling at the other for whatever reason.

However when you read about what’s going on in Iran you can’t help to wax political. However my post isn’t about Iran per se but more about the Western world.

First let me preface this by saying that I hope the people of Iran do gain their freedom. I know somebody will misconstrue my post somehow as support for the current regime in Iran.

Next I want to address all the people who are changing their Twitter icons to green to show support for the Iranians. That’s great, whatever floats your goat. However don’t get down on somebody who hasn’t, like me. I know you’re trying to bring awareness to the plight of Iraninans but to me it’s like the ribbon craze of the 90′s when everybody felt it was necessary to wear a colored ribbon for whatever cause. I didn’t need to wear a red ribbon then to show that I was concerned about AIDS. Conversely I don’t need a green Twitter icon to show I’m supporting the Iranian people. Not to mention the so called awareness factor. You’d have to be living under the proverbial rock to not know what was going on in Iran right now. If there are people that are that ignorant then they can’t be of any help anyway.

Now on to my main point. I would lay odds that the majority of you who are supporting the Iranians could have not given a rat’s ass about the freedom of the Iraqi people back in 2003. Forget why you think the war in Iraq was started. I don’t care if you think it was about oil or not the fact remains that the people of Iraq no longer live under a dictator who made Mahmoud Ahmadinejad look like Abraham Lincoln. I already know what you’re thinking though. You’re thinking that while the Iranians are trying to gain their freedom from within we ‘interfered’ with the ‘sovereign’ government of Iraq. To that I say we would have waited a long time before an internal revolution would have happened in Iraq. While Iran may not be as free as say the U.S. or Canada they obviously have a lot more freedom than the Iraqis did prior to the toppling of Saddam Hussein.

I know what else you’re thinking too. You’re thinking that this all started in Iran because of a fixed election. Then I guess you don’t remember the countless elections that Saddam Hussein won with 100% of the vote. Where were you then?

You’re either for freedom for all or you’re not.

As always it was your pleasure.

Gorenographer wants your two dollars

Back when I was researching the “Gore for Porn” story I signed up to the site to see what I could find, which was not much. Anyway now that Gorenographer Chris Wilson is behind bars I received this e-mail…

In case you have not already heard, due to the recent national media attention relating to the war pictures local law enforcement decided to arrest Chris. If you would like to know more please visit (website removed) At this time he is asking for your help in the form of donations towards his legal fund. The minimum donation is $2. Thanks for all of your support and all donations will go a long way in fighting this injustice.

Lindsey (Good friend of Chris’)

Now while I do believe Mr. Wilson was jailed under dubious circumstances I’m giggling like a schoolgirl that he’s behind bars. Now I’m trying to think of things I’d rather do with $2 then try to get this death merchant released from jail.

  1. Play the Lottery
  2. Pay the toll to get into Philly
  3. Get a McMuffin
  4. Tuck it into a stripper’s thong
  5. Buy less than a gallon of gas
  6. Buy 2/3 of a pack of smokes
  7. Exchange it for Canadian quarters
  8. Use it as toilet paper

Anybody else have any suggestions on what I should do with my $2?

Gorenographer behind bars

Arrest raises issues about obscenity, local standards, Web:

Remember the gore for porn website I talked about where servicemen and women serving in Iraq or Afghanistan can get free membership to an amateur porn site in exchange for graphic images of dead terrorists and sometimes even civilians? It turns out the webmaster, Chris Wilson, is in jail on local obscenity charges. I’m torn because while I don’t agree with the way local officials charged him I do have to chuckle that this sleazeball is behind bars.

Army to investigate gore for porn

Web site: U.S. troops traded Iraq photos for porn access:

It seems that the mainstream media has picked up on the gore for porn story about US Soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan who trade graphic pictures of dead insurgents and innocents for membership to an amateur porn site. The Army is launching their own investigation into the matter. Col. Joseph Curtin said that this kind of behavior could constitute a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice but there is no criminal investigation.

The webmaster of the site, an assclown from Florida (of course) by the name of Chris Wilson seems prickishly smug over the whole affair…

Wilson, of Lakeland, Florida, said the military hasn’t contacted him about the postings or the anonymous posters and he doesn’t “suspect they’d have reason to.”

“It would be a matter of free speech,” he said. “Since I’m not a member of the military, I’m not bound by the laws of the military.”

I hate it when scumbags like this wrap themselves in the first amendment. They’re entitled to free speech of course but they act like patriots when they’re nothing more than death dealers. To me they’re a friggin’ disgrace to the Constitution.

I hoping the karma train pulls into his station.

TOF to Zappa Crappa.

Gore for Porn

War Pornography:

Ok. I’ve actually been sitting on this story since Friday when Bookhouse Boy sent me the link. Another more left leaning blog has beaten me to the punch though. I’ll get to why in a second. This was the story that brought me back from my break. Apparently members of the US Armed Forces stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan are sending in pictures of dead enemy combatants for free membership to an amateur porn site…

At Wilson’s Web site, you can see an Arab man’s face sliced off and placed in a bowl filled with blood. Another man’s head, his face crusted with dried blood and powder burns, lies on a bed of gravel. A man in a leather coat who apparently tried to run a military checkpoint lies slumped in the driver’s seat of a car, his head obliterated by gunfire, the flaps of skin from his neck blooming open like rose petals. Six men in beige fatigues, identified as US Marines, laugh and smile for the camera while pointing at a burned, charcoal-black corpse lying at their feet.

The captions that accompany these images, which were apparently written by the soldiers who posted them, laugh and gloat over the bodies. The soldier who posted a picture of a corpse lying in a pool of his own brains and entrails wrote, “What every Iraqi should look like.” The photograph of a corpse whose jaw has apparently rotted away, leaving a gaping set of upper teeth, bears the caption “bad day for this dude.” One soldier posted three photographs of corpses lying in the street and titled his collection “DIE HAJI DIE.” The soldiers take pride, even joy, in displaying the dead.

One of the pictures on Wilson’s site depicts a woman whose right leg has been torn off by a land mine, and a medical worker is holding the mangled stump up to the camera. The woman’s vagina is visible under the hem of her skirt. The caption for this picture reads: “Nice puss -– bad foot.”

My opinions on these kind of pictures are well-known. However I’ve never served in the military. So rather than just post some reactionary knee jerk reaction like my leftist friends, who tastelessly posted some of these graphic and disturbing pictures, I decided to get the opinions of friends of mine who actually served in the military. The opinions basically were that this is grossly inappropriate to say the least but some could understand to an extent since their buddies are over there getting blown up and the terrorists are using these kind of pictures and videos to celebrate the deaths of US soldiers.

I respect my friends’ opinions. But now let me give you this civilian’s opinion. And let me say that I support the war, and I support our troops, and I’m eternally thankful for the job they do. Having said that let me address those who are taking these pictures of mutilated, burned, and dismembered corpses of terrorists. You represent the United States of America. In my opinion the greatest country on earth. What you are doing is a disservice to your uniform and is a disgrace to all those who have come before you. You do not need to stoop to the depths that the terrorists do. I am not going to sit here and be a hypocrite saying that it’s ok because some of these people are terrorists. What you are doing is morally reprehensible and reflects back on the country you serve. If you really love your country you will stop this barbaric practice. When you take these pictures you are no better than the terrorists you are fighting.

And to the assclown that runs that site, porn site owner is about as sleazy as you can get, you give them a bad name by publishing this sick shit.

I would like to hear from soldiers currently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan about their opinions on this. I’d also like to hear from civilians. What I don’t want is to see this degenerate into a debate about the war. This is not what this is about.

Now get to commenting maggots.

Iraqi Elections

You know I was over at Buddha’s Corner and we were discussing the Iraqi elections and how well turnout has been and how great a day this is for the Iraqi people. BB himself posed the question “I wonder how the left is taking it?” Well wonder no more because I have the answer. Via Right Nation I came across this post from Democratic Underground…

All the media keeps talking about is how happy the Iraqis are, how high turnout was, and how “freedom” has spread to Iraq. I had to turn off CNN because they kept focusing on the so-called “voters” and barely mentioned the resistance movements at all. Where are the freedom fighters today? Are their voices silenced because some American puppets cast a few ballots?

I can’t believe the Iraqis are buying into this “democracy” bullshit. They have to know that the Americans don’t want them to have power, because they know that Bush is in this for the oil, and now that he finally has it he’s not going to let it go. This election is a charade. The fact is that the Iraqis have suffered during the past two years more than any people on earth at the hands of the American gestapo. Maybe they’re afraid and felt they had to vote. That’s the only way I can explain it to myself.

OR–I just thought of this–maybe they’re smiling because they’re using the Americans own game to defeat them. They’re voting in candidates who they know will widen the resistance, take the fight to the streets, and finally drive the occupying forces out of their country. Perhaps they’re smiling because–right under the American’s noses–they’re planting the seeds of a bigger and more effective resistance movement. Wouldn’t that be fitting? Use *’s own tools against them?

We can only pray that this is the case. Becuase if it’s not–and if the Iraq vote is seen as a success that spread “freedom”–the world is screwed. Bush’s inaugural speech left little doubt that he has other countries on his list to spread “freedom” to. They will be his next targets, and the world will burn because of it.

Let’s hope the resistance got voted in, or if not, they only increase the fight and take down those who betrayed their country today by voting in this fraud election.

Now we knew there were going to be people opposed to the Iraqis voting and free and open elections and would do anything to make sure that there was no voter turnout. Who knew that they would be from our own country. Democratic indeed.

A Question About Sarin

Stig Mata sent me a link to the above picture. Click it to get a larger pic. Anyway it’s suspected to be Sarin gas found in Fallujah. Sarin is a biological weapon in case you didn’t know. Stig posed the question to me why isn’t a bigger deal being made out of this in the mainstream media. Why isn’t this proof enough of WMD? That’s when it occurred to me. You could park a nuclear bomb covered with Sarin stamped with Property of Saddam Hussein while Osama Bin Laden danced the hully gully on it on Michael Moore’s lawn and the left would still bitch about it.

Live Long and Protest

If I had the time and resources and if I was a total geek I would make one of the greatest satire sites ever if it hasn’t already been done. I would take a Star Trek slant on the current war on terror. There would be Intergalactic A.N.S.W.E.R. who would try to tell us that the Romulans are just a poor and oppressed people. EngageOn.org who would say that we have no business being in the Neutral Zone and accuse the current President of the United Federation Of Planets of being controlled by a Ferengi dilithium crystal mining company. And my personal favorite, “Shuttle Captains for the Truth”. A previously unheard of ensign actually survives an away mission. He receives a commendation for being injured in battle but the truth is he just scratched himself with his communicator. When he’s discharged from Star Fleet after only three months he speaks out at several rallies in favor of the Borg. Then years later he tries running for President of the Federation claiming he singlehandedly defeated the Borg.

Michael Berg Speaks Out

Father of Executed American Blasts Bush, Media:

Michael Berg, father of Nick Berg who was beheaded by terrorists in Iraq, was in London to speak at a demonstration against the war in Iraq. I have to take issue with something he said…

“There are 11,000 plus Iraqi citizens that are dead and each one’s family is as affected as I was, but the American media doesn’t cover these people. It doesn’t cover the people who are suffering the most.”

You know Michael Berg is probably one of those types that reads Indymedia and other leftist propaganda sites. He sounds like he is in need of a tinfoil hat. I feel sorry about what happened to his son but Nick Berg went here on his own free will. To blame President Bush for what terrorists did to his son is just ludicrous. How about the millions that were tortured, raped, and executed while Saddam Hussein was in power? Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of people on the left using the “Saddam was no threat to us” argument. Milosovec was no threat to us either. Where was your protest then? I fully supported our actions in Kosovo even though I was not a fan of the Commander-in-Chief at that time. Anytime a dictator is removed from power it’s a good thing. How do you people on the left discern between a war for human rights and a “war for oil” ? Because Bush is a Republican then it’s all about oil? Are some of you people even capable of being partial? Well enjoy your oil conspiracy theories. I’ll be having a good old time in the place known as reality.
