Two charged with the sex trafficking of a minor:

31-year-old Daniel Tanck and 29-year-old Robert Palermo, both of Rochester, NY, have been charged with prostituting a 14-year-old girl on Backpage.com. The victim states that the pair knew her true age and had taken photos of her to post on Backpage.

When the girl went missing the girl’s mother went through the girl’s Facebook page and saw a picture of her daughter on Tanck’s Facebook page. This leads me to believe that the girl may have been recruited by Tanck on Facebook. Social media is a breeding ground for pimps and traffickers looking to prey upon young girls. They promise them a life of money and partying before putting them out on the street or worse. So as I always say, parents, please keep track of your child’s internet activity. You are the only defense between your kids and monsters like this.

Sadly Tanck and Palermo are only looking at 10 years behind bars and even sadder Backpage continues to make a profit off of these girls that are being sold for sex and have no signs of stopping.

This story is a month old so I apologize for not bringing it to you sooner however I just received it myself.

Anyway, 40-year-old Silvio Raul Illescas was arrested early in March for allegedly raping three escorts that he found off of Backpage in Westchester County, New York. He is accused of taping two of the women in Greenburgh and one in Tarrytown. Police say that he raped at least one of the women at knifepoint cutting her. She sustained minor injuries as far as the knife goes. Investigators are also said to be looking at Illescas in other possible rapes as well.

I think that a lot of these scumbags pick prostitutes as their target not only because of the ease of access to them online but also they think that not only will they not report it but if they do that police won’t believe them. Thankfully it seems today that police do care. There was a time that this was not the case.

You know who doesn’t care? Backpage of course. They still go on waving the First Amendment in everybody’s face while women are being raped and killed through their website. Meanwhile they’re taking their blood money all the way to the bank without fear of any kind of legal reprisal. It’s sad that this is the world we live in and very few people seem to actually care about it.

A few weeks ago in the Utica, New York area 9 people were arrested and charged in connection with a 16-year-old girl being sold for sex on Backpage.

The alleged ringleaders are the brother and sister team of 30-year-old Edward Tilden and 25-year-old Lynnette Tilden along with 23-year-old Alexandria Davall. 35-year-old Jakeem E. Penn Sr. was allegedly the cab driver who introduced the teen to the trio of trafficking. 61-year-old Curtis L. O’Dell was allegedly the driver who took the girl to ‘dates’.

As an aside that’s another thing I have a problem with. These aren’t dates. A date implies two consenting parties. These are just pre-paid rapes. But I digress.

Also arrested were Michael J. Olsen, David J. Jamrosz, Michael J. Curcio and Rosheen A. Brooks who were allegedly the johns. The girl was kept hooked on heroin and coke in order to keep working and the drug dealers were paid by being allowed to have sex with the girl. I’m sorry, I meant being allowed to rape the teen.

Still Backpage makes millions of dollars from the rapes of underage girls yet no one bats an eyelash against these stories. Instead they say the police should be focusing on ‘more important’ crimes. I’m sure the mother of that 16-year-old girl thought that the crime was plenty important.

Our society is doomed. Hopefully the Mayans will be right.

Man out on bail for allegedly raping 3 women arrested again:

In Rochester, New York police have arrested 25-year-old Michael Chess for allegedly robbing women that he met through Backpage. It seems that Chess has stepped down to armed robbery from rape.

Chess was originally arrested back in October of 2011 when he was charged for allegedly raping three women that he met through Backpage. The article implies that they were prostitutes. The trial for these charges ended in a mistrial and new trial was scheduled for January, 2013.

So while he was out on bail awaiting trial police say that instead of raping women from Backpage he just merely robbed them, at gunpoint, allegedly. In one instance the victim fought back and Chess pushed her away while in the other instance Chess received a face full of pepper spray from the victim. While these crimes may have ended at attempted robbery if the victims had not retaliated we’d probably looking at two more rape victims.

So not only is Backpage facilitating in these women being trafficked as sex slaves they also have a hand in them becoming victims of rape and robbery. But hey, it’s free speech for Backpage so it’s ok right?

Pimp gets prison time after apologizing for peddling 13-year-old runaway on backpage.com:

21-year-old Kendale ‘Ace’ Judge was sentenced in a Brooklyn, NY court to 6 to 18 years in prison for prostituting a 13-year-old runaway girl on Backpage.

During his sentencing Judge supposedly apologized to his victim…

“I sincerely apologize,” Judge said in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

“My own weakness, my own weak-mindedness and lack of education led to my incarceration,” he went on. “I now know I was the cause and this is the effect.”

I hope he’s sincere but something tells me that he’s more sorry about being caught.

Judge was said to have thrown the girl down a flight of stairs when she tried to leave him. He also has to register as s ex offender which leads me to believe he at the very least statutory raped her.

This is more the norm than the myth of the ‘consenting adults’. Only idiots believe in myths. Or should I say the lie losers who pay for sex tell themselves to justify their behavior.

Financial Planner Accused Of Molesting Boy, 13, Met On Craigslist, Cops:

42-year-old David Boutin of West Hempstead, New York was recently arrested in Suffolk County after he was allegedly caught with a 13-year-old boy that he met through craigslist. Boutin is supposedly some kind of financial planner. The only reason I bring that up is because apparently child molesters come from all walks of life and social classes.

Anyway the twist to this story is that the craigslist ad wasn’t picked up by police. Local cops came across Boutin by accident when they were looking for a stolen motorcycle. That leads me to believe that for every perv that gets caught on craigslist there are several more who continue to victimize unabated all because craigslist says that it’s impossible to monitor their site. Which as you should all know by now is a load of crap. They just don’t want to spend any money on monitoring the site.

I mean what’s a few hundred or few thousand kids that get molested every year compared to the money that they’re making right?

I can’t think of a more horrific way to die then being set on fire. I mean between the smoke inhalation and the intense heat boiling off your skin you would think that such a horrible death would be reserved for the most vile of people. Unfortunately this past weekend it was the way a kindly woman was killed.

I’m sure you’ve all seen the video or read the articles by now but just to recap Deloris Gillespie was murdered in the elevator of her Brooklyn apartment building when 47-year-old Jerome Isaac set her on fire. Dressed as an exterminator Issac waited outside the elevator door and when Ms. Gillespie came to her floor Isaac is said to have doused her in a flammable liquid then set her on fire. Apparently the rate of burn wasn’t to his liking so he then lit a Molotov cocktail and threw it into the elevator. This was all done because Isaac felt that Ms. Gillespie owed him $2000 for work that he had supposedly done on her apartment. Her family said that before her murder Isaac was leaving threatening notes for her but that she couldn’t file a restraining order because she didn’t know his last name.

Of course it seems that it’s just the good among us that meet horrible ends like this as neighbors say that Ms. Gillespie was well-loved in her neighborhood. Isaac on the other hand is currently being held without bail and still has his unfortunate life. No death penalty for him since New York no longer has it.

What ‘they’ should do is they should take Isaac to the top floor of the Empire State Building, put him in the elevator, set him on fire then cut the elevator cables. They they can see what killed him first, the fire or the fall.

Big Flats man accused again of luring teen:

I originally posted about Vincent Izzo from Big Flats, New York here. Last year he was arrested for luring three underage girls for sex (child rape) through MySpace and Facebook. Well just like any other sex offender it seems that Izzo was up to his old tricks again.

First off Izzo pleaded guilty to the initial charges against him and instead of getting jail time he got probation. When will the system learn that a sex offender can not be rehabilitated or trusted.

Now Izzo is in trouble again this time for making friends with a 17-year-old girl on Facebook and sending her somewhere in the vicinity of 100 sexually explicit text messages. Also like a lot of sex offenders he used an alias, Vincent Cevellione.

Predators like Izzo only know one thing and that’s feeding their twisted desires.

Hopefully this time he’ll get some real jail time and not some enabling ‘probation’.

Cops: Woman held, forced into prostitution:

Police in Albany, New York have arrested 42-year-old Henry Douglas and 19-year-old Ciara Miller for allegedly holding a woman captive and forcing her into prostitution on the Village Voice Media owned backpage.com.

Police say that the victim was a friend of Miller’s and thought the pair was going out to party. Instead she took the woman to Douglas at a hotel room where she was held captive and was advertised for prostitution by Douglas on backpage. Douglas allegedly threatened the woman with violence if she did not comply and also threatened to kill her family. So much for consenting adults huh?

So while Village Voice Media pays lip service that they’re spending millions of dollars to combat the trafficking of children, allegedly, what are they doing to prevent victims like this being held against their will and being peddled on backpage? Oh, that’s right. Nothing.

The only way to combat that would be to shut down the adult sections which they’re obviously not going to do since the money made from that is more than likely propping up their failing company.

Watertown man accused of having sex with boy he met on Craigslist:

40-year-old Mark Barker and 31-year-old Joshua M. Lifton are both from Wattertown, New York. No word on if they actually knew each other but they’ve both been arrested for the same crime. They were both arrested in Philadelphia, New York for allegedly having sex with minors (child rape) that they met through craigslist. The victim in both cases was the same underage boy age 15.

Now some of you may say the boy holds some responsibility in this since he was on craigslist but those people are idiots. A 15-year-old in the state of New York can not legally consent to sex, especially the kind of sex that lurks on the casual encounters section of craigslist.

Also to parents out there no child has any business being on craigslist. Check their internet history to make sure they’re not susceptible to predators like this.

UPDATE: Make it three. 30-year-old Jason Harris of Antwerp, New York was arrested in Wattertown for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy he mt through craigslist.
